I had an ac9 and traded it away for a used ody. wasn't impressed, very airy draw! even for a genesis and the center post is hard to deal with. Pain in the ... at first. other than that it was good. not worth $140 for the kit, imho, there are too many cheaper alternatives that vape equally as well, if not better. Personally I prefer the PMMA tank over SS, but it doesn't seems to make much difference flavor-wise. It is made in the usa, and that goes a long way for me.

Rip is now offering a new cap with a smaller air hole.

The center post does leave some to be desired but I don't find it an issue once you get used to it. Vapes really well and is well made..
A tad to airy for me but I just cover the hole and its fine. I love the tank that it isn't made of metal. I got one for my sister too.. She loves it. I find the best vape for me is 30 awg. I tried 28 and it was great for a day. Then it waned a lot from the first day. Had to dry burn and that didn't help too long.. Just seemed to not produce the vapor it did on first days use.. I find 30 or 32awg stays consistent day after day.. IMHO

AC9 my first. Its outrageous. I can't get over how things taste. I have it on a telescope mod and a 4/3 wrap running like 0.7-0.8 ohms with 28g kanthal that comes with the unit.
Now when I try anything else that I *used* to think was the best I ever found it tastes like I'm vaping card board.
Order one, get a battery mod that can pump up the amps, and vape dork your lungs to the afterlife.
