According to B&M, RDA won't work on a VV/VW mod?

no matter what else - find a B&M with people that actually know what they are talking about. i have run just about every rba you can imagine on everything from egos to provaris with no problem.

you just have to remember to build the coils to the limits of the device and they will run fine.

^this.

i had a B&M tell my that my Vamo can't use an RSST, because the RSST can ONLY be sub ohm and can ONLY use stainless steel mesh

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with going back. I only have to go back one more because he owes me a 30ml bottle of juice I ordered. I did take a look at the Magneto and it looks pretty slick. I want to handle in person though. Also, can anyone recommend a good RDA to start with? Or ones to stay from?

Going to recommend either the Igo-L (single coil) or the Igo-W (dual coil) They are really easy to setup and are particularly awesome with micro coils and cotton builds. The Igo-W does have the world's tiniest airflow holes so they will need to be drilled out, even if you like a tighter draw, it's like sucking a golfball through a garden hose. I dulled one drill bit and broke two others, so it is rather difficult without a high speed steel (HSS) bit and a drill press. Good luck and happy building!

My local B&M salesidiot tried to tell me that same BS!

I went in to look at an iGO-W and he told me, 'well, before you can get that, you NEED to get a mech mod' (and yes, there was condescension in his voice)

when I told him I had a mech mod, a K100, he tried to tell me not to bother with any RDA other than the iGO-W with the K100-- that they wouldn't work due to the K100 not having brass or Silver contacts. He then tried to get me to buy some $200 mech mod which looked a lot like a nemisis.

Any truth to anything he said?

yes and no i have an igo-w and it does not fire on any of my regulated devices because the positive pin does not make contact but if that was not the case and you build a high res coil then it will fire my vtr can fire at .6 any lower it wont fire so he is def wrong and 40 bucks is not bad local shop has them goin for $60 they also had a arnold clone they wanted $150 they were out of there mind if they thought i would pay 150 for that haha not.

Haha..no. Stay away from stores like that.. they'll probably also wrap you a 70miliohm quad coil after selling you a 10amp battery for $20.

Yeah I don't think I'll be going back there again... which is a shame because it's the closest shop to my work.

...oh well, Vape shops are popping up like yogurt shops and hookah bars, I'll find a good shop eventually.

oh I should add, I just checked the resistance on the coil that the shop wrapped for me: .3 ohms

now granted, the resistance has probably lowered a bit as i've been using this coil a while, but still, he made no mention to me about safety precautions... the only thing he told me, oh you should get a better battery... then he proceeded to show me how much more vapor i get with ... i think it was just an IMR efest 18650.

it's only thanks to this forum that I learned that the setup he provided me was at all dangerous.
