This might sound weird but I just had dental work done actually about two wks ago and now whenever I vape I get an aching painful annoying feeling in the area I had work done. Anyone have any feed back cause this driving me nuts!

Yeah it'll happen. I have problems with my teeth & notice when I vape really sweet flavors it doesn't go well with exposed nerves or anything like that.. give it time, I'm sure you'll be ok. Just have a glass of water nearby.
I would recommend talking to your dentist about it since it hasn't been that long since you had work done.
also what is your setup? maybe a tight draw is the cause? im just spitballing here
Call your dentist. They should know better than a bunch of random people on the internet. At the very least, it would have been more helpful to say more than just "dental work".
If you have recently stopped smoking all sorts of crazy .... will be happening in your mouth right now. It will get better in time.
Does your eliquid has high nicotine ? I once read that too much Nicotine is generally bad for oral health. Not good for the gums and sometimes, ulcer can occur. Try to lower down the Nicotine perhaps.
Whenever I've had dental work done, they always warn me not to smoke OR drink through straws (especially when I had a root canal or had my wisdom teeth removed).
You're creating a partial vacuum when you smoke/vape/use a straw, which changes the blood flow and can inflame or irritate nerve tissue, especially evident when the area is already inflamed from dentist trauma.
