I've noticed that since I started vaping, I've got a ton of acne and my scalp gets really greasy and coated with yucka white gunk. I know this sounds weird, but it's not just me. My best friend who's been vaping longer said it's just a side effect of vaping and I should just get over it. My face looks like I'm a teenager again (I'm 40) and I'm really not happy about it. Does anyone else have this issue and/or advice on how to get it to stop?
TIA!

Try some Adult Acnomel for your skin. It's 11 bucks at Rite Aid. As for the hair. Maybe some head and shoulders? Or Neutrugena (sp?) T-gel once or twice a week. This is kind of one of those chicken and the egg deals. Is it the vaping? Perhaps overactive oil glands after many years of dryness from smoking. Either way it sucks :(

Its the kind of acne you get when your a teenager, the multiple little ones all in the same spot.It seems to form on the forehead and around the lips for me, and mine did cease but it took a while. One thing I do have to do now is wash my hands a lot being as I do get juice on my hands and juice that gets on my pv from my hands. And if I touch my face or rub under my eyes It causes acne to form but this is a different type of acne than the first type I mentioned.By washing it seems to have worked. My skin must be sensitive to some of it.

Shower more often, it helps. By no means is this meant to be disrespectful, I've experienced exactly the same issue unfortunately. I presume the vapor has something to do with it, exactly what I'm not sure, but as I said shower twice a day, or just wash your face more often and the problem will resolve. I'm also in my 40's if that's any consolation.

Maurice.

Edit: I call no dice on this being an effect from quitting smoking, I've quite for upwards of 6 months without vaping and never had a similar issue. Quit in basic training for some 4.5 months, no problems then at 19 years old. As a matter of fact I never really had experienced this until I started vaping. Let's not be coy, smoke is likely a bit more sterile than vapor, and has no real nutritional value to bacteria, e-juice it would seem does, though I'm not able to prove such a thing.

So food for thought, think for yourself.
