PewPew, thanks and keep us updated. I don't want to quit vaping either, it is way too enjoyable.

What you had was way beyond quitzits. I got a bit of oily skin, and regular zits shortly after quitting, it was almost a month later that I started to get my boils or whatever they are, and they are radically different. Mine are also going away, but I really cut back on the vaping.

Yeah, what I went through is something like the boils. This picture is really representative of what's going on my scalp:

and my chest

I cut down on the PG (previously smoking 80PG/20VG, now cut down to 20PG/80VG), and started increasing my water intake to a gallon (3 - 4 liters). We'll see how it pans out. As of right now, things have seemed to calm down, so I'll update if anything else pops up.

I notice a spot at the back of my neck with like a scab; can't see it; I just feel it; scratched it off a couple times, and it tends to recur.

I also tend to get like a thin layer of something on my nose bridge and forehead that feels like its a residue from vg; it rubs/scratches out.

PewPew, any changes? Did the PG and water help somewhat?

Sorry, it's been a while. So, as an update, I've switched from vaping 80PG/20VG to the opposite, 20PG/80VG. And I haven't had any more breakouts. No acne on the face, my chest is just now covered with scars, and my scalp now has thick layers of scabs that doesn't seem to disappear, but again, NO MORE BREAKOUTS. So, this is good news for me.

Nothing in my diet or surroundings have changed since. So I'm pretty safe to say that it was something to do with me vaping a high PG for roughly 4 months, I've built up something in my body and caused a reaction.

I'll check back in a few weeks and see how it goes. Thanks for keeping up with it.

Wow I am sorry to hear that brother. Go see your dermatologist ( which I am sure you have or even considering )if at all possible. Secondly it could possibly be an allergic reaction to either the PG/VG nic or flavorings. Vapor or PG clogs pores you can kind of tell after 20 min of heavy or chain vaping. Your skin will feel very dry and dirty.
Try changing to a lower PG level 60/40 or even go 100% VG. Try for a week or a few days to see if any changes are made. If not then eleminate nicotine or one of the flavorings to see. I hope this helps and goes well for you!
