Just got a Pyrex tip this morning. A little big around at the tip, kinda like the cannon only smoother, and it doesn't completely cover the Cisco 306, but overall I'd give it a solid 9.0. The juice does seem tastier than with a Delrin for some reason. re: covering the atty, it goes far enough down that there's no air leakage. So, a big THANKS! goes out to TheECig.com and the ECF'ers. I also got a free sample of some really good Sin-A-Bun juice. Very tasty!

Totally agree with this thread. Just had my 306 with acrylic drip tip on for less than a week and already there's two holes in it. They really do SUCK :-x:censored::censored::censored: I seriously regret the suggestion that was given to me by someone here. Wished I seen this thread earlier, matter of fact.

Had to order a black delrin tip (initial choice and I'm not willing to spend nearly twenty bucks for a single drip tip) and hopefully that'll hold up better than the one I had or until my 801 comes in :2cool:

I was the one that suggested the drip tip to you, at least I think I was through a PM..the clear drip tip I believe. Is that the one that went bad on you? I've used mine now for 3 weeks and its just like new. Sorry it didnt work out for you. I'm using mine with a 1.5 306 and 18650 battery. Sterno just suggested the same one to you that I did and he seems to be getting good results with his as well. I dont know what the difference could be.

Yeah, it's the one that came with the atomizer special that I got from avidvapor. The atties work great but the drip tip....well, you already know where I'm going to go with that. Anyways, you don't have to apologize since it's not your fault. Plus, I was aggravated at the time and needed a mini rant session LOL

I believe that it isn't that same exact one that you and sterno have since it's supposed to be the new and improved version of the one that I got. Which is giving me a weird look at this time:

I guess it is a different one than the one I ordered. I have had very good luck with the version 2 and the clear makes it really nice for controlling the squonking. I also have the extended one and that worked well too but I prefer the clear as it shorter and I never get juice in my mouth. Good luck with the 801, I've never gone there. I've also never tried higher voltage vaping as I am satisfied using the 3.7 volts with an LR atty. Let us know how it all works out.

The issues you are having with acrylic and other clear tips are the same ones that everybody is having with the clearomizers: stress cracking due to a poor choice of plastic. Most of the clear plastics (PET being an exception) have very, very poor chemical resitance, especially when subjected to any kind of heat.

These plastics include: styrene, polycarbonate (lexan), acrylics. The translucent plastics like PE and PP do pretty well in chemical enviornments.

One would think that the manufacturers would have learned their lesson by now.

While I am on the subject, does anyone know of a drip tip that will fit the clearos?
