Ohhkay. Metal drip tips exclusively for this guy from now on.

Over the past month I've broken three acrylic and on delrin (might be a type of acrylic?, I'm just going off how they were labelled at sale) drip tips. Granted it's because I'm a clumsy oaf, but such is life.

Today, within the first hour of work, I managed to knock my reo over while putting a cart together outside, break the tip off at the top of the rm2 and lose it. I probably should have had a backup, but didn't, so I ended up taking hits directly off the rm2. Which actually wasn't as terrible as it sounds, but far from ideal.

Luckily my this guy came in yesterday:

Not the most pocket friendly, but it looks and works great.

Maybe the USPS didn't like the squishy envelope? It hasn't been returned to me so maybe they are looking at it for illegal substances or some such thing.

It's definitely a bummer, but these things happen. Ive heard of people losing mods in the mail. Prolly why Rob requires the signature. This is but a drop in the bucket.

Like I said, I truly appreciate it. I will let you know if it ever arrives.

It does a bit, which is ideal for my menthols; but mostly it makes my reo look even more like it belongs in outer space!

Nice tip

I like to think the acrylic ones are the weak link that saves my bacon .....

If not for that I think I would have killed a rba and a few 510 connectors by now.
That and the chance of metal tips going to low and shorting RBAs keeps me in the acrylic camp full time.
