Hey all,

I've just started vaping after 15 years of smoking and I'm so excited about this new obsession!

I've been modding my carts, started with the PTB, then tried the ZFM which I find works better for my SD's 901 atty.

But now I want to try a different atomizer, because everyone seems to think the 510s are the way to go and last longer. Some have said that the 901's produce better flavor. Yet others say that the 808D is the best of both worlds.

Which one do you guys recommend?

Also, maybe my research is wrong. But does the 808D atty fit the 901 connection? If so I wouldn't have to buy an adapter, right?

Thanks for the help.

The KR808D-1 and DSE901 have the same threads. The battery on the KR808D-1 has air holes since its just a 2 piece system and the cartomizers don't have a side air intake like the DSE901 atomizer has. This means:
1) You can use a DSE901 Atomizer on a KR808D-1 battery just fine.
2) You can screw a KR808D-1 cartomizer onto a DSE901 battery but you can't get any air into/through the cartomizer.

You can fix 2) by buying a small adapter that has air holes in the threads at the battery end just like the real KR808D-1 battery has. Then you can use a DSE901 battery or passthru with a KR808D-1 cartomizer.

The Joye 510 is designed just like the DSE901, 3 pieces. You can get an adapter that goes from DSE901/KR808D-1 battery threads to Joye 510 atomizer. There is also the reverse for those who have a 510 and want to try the KR808D-1 cartomizers but that doesn't mean anything for you.

I recently posted a link to someone who was asking about do-it-yourself mods and the same site sells the adapters for very reasonable prices. Don't remember where and I'm feeling too lazy to look right now, sorry 'bout that. If you look through my post history you should find it pretty easily.
