510 atomizer or 901 atomizer for dripping?

I've been using my kr808 passthrough for testing new juices as a whole Go Go cart full of a flavor I can't stand would be annoying. I've read on here that an atomizer works better for this than the stripped out cartomizer I'm using. My question to the pros is should I just buy a 901 atomizer and screw it on, or buy a 510 adapter and atomizer. Any difference?

Well, that all depends on you. Both atomizers are great! I could be wrong about this, but some people say that the 901 gives better flavor and the 510 gives better TH. I might have those backwards, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Atomizers and dripping are the absolute best way to test juices without wasting anything.

If your gonna drip to test flavors out I would have to suggest a Mini 801 from Ikenvape or even better one of there new Cannon Atty's that are about to come out that are shown on the website now. I've been using one for a few days now and there a super Atty just super. They have a 510 thread on the bottom with an 801 internal, big bridge and these Atty's put out lots of flavor and the 801/302 are known for flavor but these little cannon's make for a great dripper Atty as well as the best yet I have found for my bottom feeder box mods, I can not flood them on my bottom feeders, flavor is really great on them.

You have it right. The 901 gives better flavor..510 TH. I find it better to test them out on what ever type of atty I use most, this way I'm not disappointed when I go to my daily user.

Im not a pro. These are my observations, so far.

At 3.7v

801 - Cool vapor, average flavor, low throat hit. Average vapor production.

901 - Warmer vapor, good flavor, average throat hit. Good vapor produciton.

510 - Warm vapor, lots of flavor, big throat hit. Heavy vapor production.

As you raise the voltage, the vapor gets warmer. Eventually the 501 will get to the point of being to hot and will ruin the flavor to me. The same can be said for the 901, though it takes more voltage to get there. At 5v+ I prefer the 801, then the 901.

In my case I use mostly 510's, and just lower the voltage. Some people do not have that option, or like a device that doesn't have that option, and changing the atty is a reasonable solution in such a case. I have also been in the sad situation of not having an atty I like in stock, and having to find something else to try, the above has served me pretty well so far.

Well, I use a Go Go so I could strip out a Go Go cartomizer and use it for dripping on the Go Go if it's really going to make that big of a difference. I just thought an actual atomizer might be more convenient and I have this kr808 stuff just sitting around that I could make some use of. Now my passthrough cable is operating at higher voltage than the Go Go, but it never had as much flavor, throat hit, or vapor production. Anyway, thanks for the info so far, although I wish it was helping me to make a decision. :)

I know right? That's why I was hoping to get some use out of the kr808 stuff for that. But then Nosmok says to use the every day atty(in this case a Go Go cartomizer) so I won't be dissapointed. Then Cyatis says that the 510 gets too hot on the 5v coming out of my passthrough. It seemed so simple when the idea popped into my head too.

Depends on the 510, note the comparison is pretty rough, considering I'm talking standard resistance atomizers. Put a 3.5 ohm resistance 510 atomizer on at 5v and you get completely different results as it is much cooler.

My question to the pros is should I just buy a 901 atomizer and screw it on, or buy a 510 adapter and atomizer. Any difference?

Considering you have a Gogo and an 808 passthrough, the 901 will fit on the passthrough, and with a Gogo/808 adapter it would fit on the Gogo to. Unless I'm missing something, about the Gogo/808 adapter.

I do not know if you have the 808 adapter for your Gogo or not, however you could get some use out of the passthrough and actually get something that possibly could be used on the Gogo.

I think the biggest issue is your most likely going to be comparing flavors on a different device, at a different wattage, with a different setup ... as long as your expectations don't exceed reality, then your fine.

I'm not sure if they have ever produced the 510 adapter for the Gogo, even though it was planned. In either case the 510 would mean adapters on both the passthrough and Gogo (which might not even exist) to get a similar result, and it would seem the 901 would in either case be a simpler solution.
