I recently ordered 2 of the 510 threaded dual coil tanks new to V4L. I was mistakenly shipped 2 tanks threaded for the 808 battery.
I called V4L and they very graciously offered to send me the tanks I actually ordered (the 510 threaded ones) and told me to go ahead and keep the 808 threaded ones I was mistakenly sent.

So now I have a decision to make. I haven't used 808 batteries for some time. I did have one 808 battery left, but I recently lost it, so I don't have anything I can use these 2 tanks with.

Will the 808-510 adapter sold on V4L.com work for using these 808 threaded tanks with my eGo batteries, or should I order an 808 battery to use with these, and if so, which one should I order. I prefer manual batteries, but I don't like all the bling that some batteries have on them.

So, V4L experts, tell me what I should do.

By the way, if any V4L staffers have a look at this, your customer service rules! When I called and explained what happened, I was immediately offered a very satisfactory resolution, which will absolutely keep my business with you folks.
Also, I have tried many juices from many vendors, and your Wowboy is by far the most delicious I have found, and your juices in general have the best consistency in flavor between batches. Keep up the good work. You are a great face for this industry, and your business practices and product quality are admirable.

I would suggest getting one of the stealth manual batteries. Really nice batteries and no led to lead the way

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the stealth batteries were all automatic. That won't do for me, I need the control a manual battery offers. Also, aren't the stealths only available in camo patterns? No offense intended to anyone who likes that, but I find it tasteless.
Once again, though, please correct me if I am wrong on these impressions.

The Stealths do now come in manual, but yes, they are still all camo patterns.

You might find you like the look of the new Olive and/or Cigar Vapor Titan manuals, but you'll need to get a V4L Slimline charger for them, and overlook the sticker shock of the batts themselves (they have a soft-touch finish, which feels similar to a cat's nose but may come from a unicorn's horn. V4L ain't sayin'. ;))

I guess if you call this camo...... but my idea of camo is brown/khaki/olive or gray urban camo. These are more like paint splatter to me. I actually was not interested until I first saw one at the store. Never seen a soldier wear camo that looked like this. The blue is actually pretty subdued.

Will the 808-510 adapter sold on V4L.com work for using these 808 threaded tanks with my eGo batteries

The adapter sold by V4L is actually a 510-808 adapter and, as already mentioned, is what you're probably looking for. I mention this only because an 808-510 adapter has two female connections and wouldn't work on a 510 device (or 808 tank). I just wanted to make sure you didn't end up buying the wrong thing from somewhere else.

The 510-808 adapter on our site should be just what you need.

Also want to add that the Original Vapor King Manual Stealth Series also includes some solid colors...such as Matte Black, Blue, Gun Metal, and Magenta.
They are available in Regular, Shorty, and XL lengths. The Regular length is here: Vapor King Stealth Series Manual Battery - Electronic Cigarette...
