Well I had a 901 over about a month or so. Once I got the proper routine down it vaped enough to get me almost fully switched over. I let my friend fry my good original 901 atty, though I had a backup. I ordered some rn4075? I think knockoff attys from Parked. He sent em out quickly, and provided great service. I'd deff buy from him again no doubt. It seems to me the knockoffs don't perform near as good as the real 901 attys. It seems to me the real ones dont work well unless they are really soggy and make the gurgle sound. The knockoffs seem to flood very easy and need to run alot drier, and dont produce as much vapor over a longer period of time. I'm prlly just not adept at working the 4075's properly dunno.

I just received my Dura C yesterday and got the 16 hour torture charge cycle finally done. I know I've only had it a day, but sheesh this thing kicks like a mule. Like others say the smoke has a more dry characteristic to it, but I like this alot better. As for flavor to my crappy tastebuds seems to be the same. I smk 36mg unflavored anyway. :p I seems that it is much stronger with the nic so I dont have to vape it as often for some reason. It seemed with the 901 I was burnin through juice like water. My friend saw my 901 cpl weeks back and purchased a dura from my recommendations. He was a menthol smkr so he also purchased JC artic mint. To me the JC produced avg vapor when I tested it out, so I wasn't impressed off the bat with his. I ordered one anyway, since my 901 attys were gettin old and goin downhill fast. I so glad that I did, in the long run.

It seems to me the JC juice between the artic mint and the complimentary 3ml tobacco I got all have the same JC twang to them. It's not bad but I got tired of it pretty quickly as with many flavors I've tried, hence the unflavored. Since I have received my dura and loaded it up with V4L 36mg the vapor and kick is crazy lol. The batt so far has lasted pretty good, but I attribute that to the crazy kick and me using it way less for some reason. I know I've only had it for a day and could fall apart tomorrow, but so far my initial impressions are great. I ordered it from Vapor Guys last friday and received it tuesday, even with monday bein a holliday. It was almost at my door before I hit the checkout button. My 901 was so sporatic on vapor, I didn't let alot of friends try it because I didnt want them to have a first time bad experience. I also didn't want to send someone into a coughing fit with 36mg juice either hehe. I think I'll keep the 901 loaded with low nic with a fruity flavor to let other ppl test it out. This is just my personal take on the two units and realise that some may have the mojo to make a 901 rock over a 510. If you can I'd be very happy to learn your tricks that differ from all the threads I've read so far. There is nothing new I can add to what is already out there on tons of great reviews. I just wanted to post my take on it, thanks again and glad to be a part of this community. May the swartz be with you.

Good to have another convert! I also vape 36mg straight. At my job I don't have time to just sit and vape, so I hit the 36mg in my 510 whenever I get a quick break. I haven't suffered the nicfits I did in the past. Bam! Throat hit, great taste (usually Red Bull or Watermelon) and it's back to the grind. Hehehehe.

My first post. Whoot!

So, I made the nominal mistake of buying the 4081 from Smoking Everywhere. Actually, it wasn't really a mistake insofar as the 4081 is a pretty under rated device. After messing with it for about a week and refining my technique, letting the atomizer break in and so forth, it produces a fair amount of vapor and gives a reasonably satisfying experience. The main drawback is the pathetically small and badly designed carts.

Anyway, after doing some research I decided to upgrade to a Joye 510. It sounded like exactly what I was after. Thicker, more consistent vapor, larger carts and so forth. It just arrived today and the manual battery is on the charger for it's initial ramp-up. The auto activated battery has enough charge in it to try the unit out and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed. Right out of the box, with no break-in and a battery with who knows how little charge, it already out performs my 4081. Very nice vapor, good taste, very consistent, nice smooth draw... yeah, it's awesome. I can't wait to see how it works with a full battery and a couple of days of break-in!

I've had mine for 3 days now, so far so good. I've only had experience with one dura atty so far. I tested the spare one just to check for doa, and it was working. The vapor after sitting over night is less, but after it gets woke up its back to normal. I ordered two more lol from cigtech. One for my bro in law and nuther for me. I'm interested in seeing how the regular 510 attys perform compared to the dura ones. The manual batteries are where its at forsure.

In just 3 days use I'm way happier than I was with my 901. I was tired of caving my forehead in with the 901 auto batteries, and gave it to my sister. The 901 is still a decent device compared to my bro's njoy that I tried, but I think his atty is bout dead or clogged and in need of a good cleaning or something. I've never tested the 901 atty on anything cept the batts and a passthrough I bought for it. I think my usb's suck or my passthrough is different by the taste it gives and the vapor is smoother on the battery.

The 510 just seems to deliver the vaper with a more easy drag for me. I seem to vape less with the 510 also. So far I'm a believer in the 510, and is goin' to be my main and only model of device. Interesting thing is the charger has a 6-12 volt on the side of it in addition to the ac one. I took my radar detector cable plugged it in, works great when I'm out and about. When I'm out on a video or sound job I just run out to my car and switch them out. I also take a small straight pin and poke lots of small holes in my filler, seems to keep the wick performance up better. They seem to get matted up after numerous topoffs and the pin trick works good for me. Yeah... think I'm gonna be a fanboy where do I sign up for the t-shirt and the free Michael Bolton cd.

I'm getting great nic delivery with the 510 and can actually lay it down and walk away. I vape 36mg too and for the first time I can feel the high nic content. With the Smoore e-cig, I'd chew nicorette, smoke about 5 analogs a day, 36 juice and never felt a nic buzz.

This 510 will get you high lol. It's much more efficient at what it's supposed to do. That manual switch heats the juice to the right vape temp right out of the gate, rather than sucking your brains out to heat it up. I used to be out of breath all the time vaping the Smoore e-cig. I can finally breath again. Damn it's nice!

Yeah, these babies have power! I got so friggin' frustrated with the 901 I had because of the inconsistent throat hit.

I've had my Dura-C for about a month now and it's still going strong!

I got a couple of 510 kits from David at eastmall.net and they give the warmest vapor I've ever experienced! The attys burn really hot and they suck the carts bone dry. I also like the raised button on these. It took me a couple of days to get used to having a LED again but I'm a really likin' it!

i think it's some kind of venturi effect with the vapor. you hit that switch and it shoots the vapor to your mouth. VERY little sucking. I just keep it topped with a few drops when it gets a little low.

I've been careful with mine, b/c widow said to try not to hold the button for more than 5 secs to give the atty long life and not overheat. no need for 5 secs. Hold the button, hear the sizzle and wham. couple secs and i'm good.

battery has been going over 3 hours too. I use the method that someone on here recommended = let go of the button as I'm finishing up my drag.

I'm loving keeping carts topped off. now I can trash my junkie kit to a lite carryon :)

They sound good and a good price anyone know about there life ? and how long it takes to get a order from eastmall? I reall need a cig to carry around.. Oh and who carrys a case to fit it ??
I just ordered one from Widows Bead Work. She has them in stock, and shipped the same day. Only $50 for the starter kit, and free shipping, too.

I'm so ready to move my 901s to NY for emergency backup when I'm stuck there unexpectedly, and join the manual 510 club.

I just ordered the PCC for the 510 from Windows Bead Work. It appears to be just the thing for going mobile. It holds a battery, an atomizer and two carts (three, actually, since you can store the atomizer with a cart attached.) Plus it charges the battery when its in the case. Up to four full charge cycles as I understand it.

Eastmall carries the same Joye model as carried by Cigtechs. All the newest upgrades are there. It's excellent and you'll be very pleased.

Edited to add that I got my most recent eastmall order in 10 days. This encompassed both Memorial Day in this country, and some kind of floating dragon holiday in China. Some members have reported as soon as 5 days from China, some in Canada are screwed indefinitely.
