I went for the DSE901 initially and was happy with it. But then there was so much talk about how awesome the Joye 510 was that I eventually caved and got one for myself. At first I didn't like it as much because the vape seemed lighter and less flavorful, even if more consistent. Someone here told me the experience would likely improve once my atty got seasoned, though. Right they were!

For about two weeks I switched off between both units, but found myself reaching for the 510 more often. So I bought several more 510 kits (those sweet $35 deals) and I just love it. Now my 901 parts sit in the tackle box where I store all my supplies and the 510 is all I use. I like the vapor, the size, the weight, the ease of use, the consistency and even find the flavor and hit quite good once the atty gets broken in for a day (the first two days with a new atty are never as nice though).

My only gripe is that the batteries don't last very long. I go through 6-8 a day. That seems excessive. I do tend to chain vape at certain times of the day, though, so maybe people who vape less get better life from them. I get 2-3 hours from a fully charged battery.

I would grumble about the atty life too, but it seems about the same as with my 901. I average two weeks with an atty. I've yet to have one flat out die on me, but the vape starts getting so weak that it's not satisfying. I consider the atties disposable, so having to replace one every two weeks is hardly tragic (especially compared to what I used to spend on analogs!). I haven't bothered trying to cleaning any of them, though. Maybe some could be revived.

So anyway, I'm a happy 510 convert :)

I use a 510 and I'm over 6 weeks on the same atty. Once a week I rinse with hot water, and blow out the excess juice and water from the batt connector side. I can't say for sure, but I believe that has extended the life of my atty.
As for the batts, I agree the life sucks. I ordered a Chuck to extend batt life and I won't have to change batts several times a day.

I got a 52 trio "trial pack" but it sucked so bad!?? I don't know why, I did pay only 10$ so I'm not really disappointed, but then again I kind of am. The very first few puffs it worked just fine, then now for some reason 0 vapor comes out. I tried charging it, changing the cartridge I'm left to think it's the atomizer...but why would it die the same day I received it??

Try the mega batts from Totally Wicked (others sell them too). Almost 2x the lifetime between charges, and not 2x the price...even better when they are running a sale. Also, a passthru is a great addition if you are at the computer a lot. Loads of vendors sell them. Because of these two improvements, I rarely use my regular 510 batts anymore.

When Hellen says "get a battery mod," she means get the Little Chuck. And with a signature logo like hers, how can one resist!

But for the appeal that her logo provides, visualize her imp on Eastmall's similar-sized Indulgence!:D

LOL! Don... somehow I knew YOU would like the EastMall advertisements. *wink*

Telsie, don't listen to men who are driven to buy mods that are sold with images of sexy nakedness (who looked at the mod? All I saw was belly buttons and boobs LOL). Buy an American made CHUCK with a 1 year warranty and hundreds of units in use. You want naked? Put what ever custom image you want on the Chuck (or Little Chuck) for free... THAG BUILT: A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing! to see some that people have designed (edit: but none feature nudity, lol).

(kidding Don... kinda )

I agree with Kurt. between my pt and the mega batts I don't even notice the batt life. on the rare occasion I am able to leave the house I carry the PCC with me which keeps the smaller batts fresh.

Kurt, where else but TW can you find mega batts?

LOL. Nekkid images are not exactly what I'm looking for in a battery!

I've thought about getting a bigger battery, like the Chuck or that longer 510 battery, but I like the how small and lightweight my e-cig is. So I'll stick with the nuisance of having to swap batteries all the time. I should probably invest in a PCC, though. And one of those multi-chargers. That would be nice. Right now I've got four individual chargers and I've got batteries charging in them at all times.

happens sometimes even with the best products eventualy everyone will get a bad batt or atomizer this is where the customer service of your supplier comes into play
