Well thanks to Parallex2 (THANKS!) I got the opportunity to purchase GGTS/AVS #700. He even included two new 901 atomizers for me! It came to the post office this morning and I went and picked it up. I am seriously impressed.

I have always looked at and admired Imeo's work, but refrained from purchasing because of 901 atomizers (I am a 510 guy), and really because it has always been difficult to purchase a complete set new. I even refrained because of size, which is almost funny, because even with the AVS attached I can use an 18350 or 16340 and the size is perfect. With the 18650, yea it is big in comparison to another juice fed 18650 mod I own, but the control of the juice flow and battery life is worth it. Price was the other detractor... well considering what I have paid for other mods, I think the price is worth it for the GG. And finally the switch. My experience with this style of mechanical switches where based on a certain 17670 tube mod out there. That switch beat the heck out of my tender fingers. The switch on the GG works effortlessly. I can use my pinky or palm it, with no problems what so ever. Very nice switch IMO, plus it locks to boot!

I was seriously missing out not owning a GG, IMO. I have owned a bunch of mods over the last few years, watched people worship the GG and watched people make fun of it. Either way, until you try one, you don't realize what you are missing. It really is an interesting and great vape machine. A lot of thought, and I am sure trial and error went into coming up with this PV, and it certainly paid off. The quality of the workmanship is impressive to say the least. This is one that I think will stick around, of course unless I could score a SSGGTS/UFS :p But I believe I will keep a GG in my collection from here on out.

I have seen people complain about GG warranty also because the seller/vender states they are as is. Now I haven't used it, but it is clearly stated on the gg wiki, that the warranty is lifetime and that it transfers to someone who purchases used. That is very nice to have to say the least. I have no issue paying the euros to get a new piece if necessary though regardless.

The ONLY thing I am missing is the fact that I can't figure out how to use it without the AVS yet, and that I want to use 510 atomizers if need be. I see that COV has the pieces/parts to use a 510 in the AVS and was thinking of purchasing that also (along with magnets for switch). So how successful does the 510 work in the AVS? Are there short comings to using the AVS with a 510 setup vice the 901? I do have to say the 901 is a very pleasant vape with the AVS, but I have so much 510 stuff, I like to try to keep things simple and only want to purchase 510s if I purchase atomizers. Parallex2 included a top piece of sort, so I have to figure that out if I want to drip instead of using AVS...

The 510 connection in the AVS is a serious pain. You had to drain the tank every time you had to adjust the juice flow to the atty. Hench the UFS.

Just try to get ahold of some punched 808 cartos (preferably the vapor nine turbos) and run it at 6v. You wont go back. I have never had a pv produce so much flavor and vapor at the same time.

Yeah don't bother with the 510 adapter for the AVS, just too much stuffing around. I'd also recommend 808 cartos with a small hole punched in them where the hole is on a 901, be sure to pre fill the carto using the condom method before screwing it into the AVS as this will prevent and possible burning :)
If you can beg, borrow or steal a UFS they are just amazing and you'll love the 510 in it ;)

I just bought a ggts with avs too from a member here and I can't wait till it gets here hopefully on Monday. My avs is coming with the 510, so is it really that much of a pain?

No it is not. I got a AVS 3 days ago with the 510. It was about 3 hours of learning to get it down pat and hastle free vaping ever since. My GGTS/AVS #532 came today and even thought I burned the LR510 attie in it with 6 volt I was up and running with a new attie less than 5 min latter.

I am very glad that you are pleased with GGTS and AVS and also I am glad that one more person (you) tastes the satisfaction that GG offers to its owners.:)

You are added on GG family already buddy, welcome home :toast:

Just looked @ the serial # wiki and see I am listed. Thank you sir.

Some here say nay for he 510 w/ AVS and some say yes... Only one way for me to find out... unless I can acquire an UFS :)

I want to clarify. I am not saying that the 510 in the AVS v2 didn't work. I just said that is was kind of a PITA. If you can get a UFS, that is the way to go for 510s in the GGTS IMO. I also believe that the best setup for the AVS is punched 808 cartos. I was just trying to give him what I have found to be the best. I normally am a 510/306 person myself. The vast majority of my attys and cartos are 510 and lr 510. I just prefer the 808 at 6v in the AVS over any other combo.

All good inquistorj! I am now on the fence regarding the fight for a UFS or try the 510 setup in my AVS. In fact I was just shopping. After looking at all the stuff, I think I may wait on the UFS and then add stuff to maintain my AFSv2 for 901 vaping. Of course, the SSGGTS is now on my notify also... even if I can get any of the new stuff, I am really happy with the setup I have now. I filled the tank around 12 today and have been getting way more nicotine then I need!!!

it is important to note that the 808 cartos do have to be punched with a small hole about the same height ups as a 901, so do not expect to just put the carto in the tank, fill it with juice and start vaping. That said, it is well worth it.

Jolly,

Have one with the UFS and a 510 as well as the AVS with cartos. I know it is kind of expensive, but I believe that it is well worth it. If for some reason you find that you really preffer one setup over the other and you are not using it at all you could sell the one you don't use in a heartbeat. GG's never really seam to last very long in the classifieds.

LOL I have 4 GGTS, 1 set up with 901 AVS, 1 with 510 moded in AFSv2, 2 set up with UFS and a 901 AFSv2 on another mod with a few older slims for dripping to sample my juice mixes

yeah i took me so long to find one in the classifieds but i got lucky on a post i put up. i cant wait to see what all the hype is about. does anyone know where i can get a 901 adapter for the avs or could i just use a low profile adapter?

You have to find someone willing to part with one, I just sold my spare 901 connector to handaman the other day
