Well thanks to Parallex2 (THANKS!) I got the opportunity to purchase GGTS/AVS #700. He even included two new 901 atomizers for me! It came to the post office this morning and I went and picked it up. I am seriously impressed.
I have always looked at and admired Imeo's work, but refrained from purchasing because of 901 atomizers (I am a 510 guy), and really because it has always been difficult to purchase a complete set new. I even refrained because of size, which is almost funny, because even with the AVS attached I can use an 18350 or 16340 and the size is perfect. With the 18650, yea it is big in comparison to another juice fed 18650 mod I own, but the control of the juice flow and battery life is worth it. Price was the other detractor... well considering what I have paid for other mods, I think the price is worth it for the GG. And finally the switch. My experience with this style of mechanical switches where based on a certain 17670 tube mod out there. That switch beat the heck out of my tender fingers. The switch on the GG works effortlessly. I can use my pinky or palm it, with no problems what so ever. Very nice switch IMO, plus it locks to boot!
I was seriously missing out not owning a GG, IMO. I have owned a bunch of mods over the last few years, watched people worship the GG and watched people make fun of it. Either way, until you try one, you don't realize what you are missing. It really is an interesting and great vape machine. A lot of thought, and I am sure trial and error went into coming up with this PV, and it certainly paid off. The quality of the workmanship is impressive to say the least. This is one that I think will stick around, of course unless I could score a SSGGTS/UFS
But I believe I will keep a GG in my collection from here on out.
I have seen people complain about GG warranty also because the seller/vender states they are as is. Now I haven't used it, but it is clearly stated on the gg wiki, that the warranty is lifetime and that it transfers to someone who purchases used. That is very nice to have to say the least. I have no issue paying the euros to get a new piece if necessary though regardless.
The ONLY thing I am missing is the fact that I can't figure out how to use it without the AVS yet, and that I want to use 510 atomizers if need be. I see that COV has the pieces/parts to use a 510 in the AVS and was thinking of purchasing that also (along with magnets for switch). So how successful does the 510 work in the AVS? Are there short comings to using the AVS with a 510 setup vice the 901? I do have to say the 901 is a very pleasant vape with the AVS, but I have so much 510 stuff, I like to try to keep things simple and only want to purchase 510s if I purchase atomizers. Parallex2 included a top piece of sort, so I have to figure that out if I want to drip instead of using AVS...
