Adding additional flavor to a mix

I have a tobacco mix I'm currently enjoying, Dry4 and Tab-blended. I want to try adding to this starting with some black cherry. Can I simply take 5ml from some that is already steeped and add 1% cherry to it until I get a flavor I like, then get the same result by changing my original recipe to include that percentage of cherry? I'm not sure if I explained that right, but it made sense in my head.

That's what I would do. Take a few ml's of your juice (5ml sounds good) and add a percent or2 and try it out. If it's good just scale it up next time you make the juice.
