adding nic already in PG to a no-nic ejuice

So,

Being from Canada, its can be difficult to get an ejuice with nic in the precise flavour you want. However, there are plenty of companies out there who sell no-nic juices in the flavours I crave!

The no-nic juice are 50%PG/50%VG. Hypothetically, if I had 36mg nic in PG, and I'm assuming thats 36mg per ml, and not total... How would I go about adding this to the juice? Ideally I'd be shooting for 18mg strength.

While I understand the risks of dealing with nicotine, can this be done safely? I'm a little confused as to all these numbers and units. Is there a type of calculator that deals in this sort of thing?

Thanks!

There are easy dilution calcs out there if you'd like. If you're savvy in maths you can do it by hand. For example, 36 mg/ml is the nic solution, your juices are 0 mg/ml. Mixxing at a 50/50 ratio, you'd get 36 mg/ml /2 = 18 mg/ml. The two being 2 parts - thus 50/50. Problem is, since you're using half unflavored pg with nic, you're diluting your flavor too.

Hi Ye Gods, Yes you can consider 36mg liquid safe to home mix if treated with respect. If you have the option to order a no nic with extra flavoring it might be the best way for you to get that correct amount of flavor once you mix it with nic liquid. This is the calculator I like to use when I make my personal liquids e-Liquid Calculator . it will let you input your target nic and your nic liquid strength. Plus it could come in handy if you wanted to try your hand at making a liquid from start to finish once you get the hang of it. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
