adding Nic to 0nic juice.

I needs some help.


What I have is 50mg/ml of nic. I also have 20-something bottles of 0mg juice from a friend. they range from 5ml to 30ml per bottle. the calc that I used says to add 3.7ml of nic to a 30ml. this is not right. My face about blew off. I have never even looked into DIY. ANY help is appreciated.

What nic strength are you trying to get? That should get you 6 mg nic juice.

I saved this formula from somewhere here on the forum and found it very helpful for me. Hope it helps you too.

A= total amount of juice, in ml, that you want to make.
B= number of mg/ml of nicotine that you want in the final juice.
C= number of mg/ml of nicotine in your nicotine base.

Multiply A times B, then divide by C. That will yield the number of ml of nicotine base to use.

That should have made you just under a 6mg/ml juice. Are you sure that the juice that you have does not have nic in it? Did you mix it well?

6mg is what I'm going for. This was not. Yeas, im sure that what I have is 0mg.

3.6mg of 50% to 30ml makes it 6mg. Since it is favored already that removes the 20%.

I added slightly less than 3.7ml. The throat hit was astonishing. I got a headache after 3 pulls. So....something is missing. I had 0mg juice.....I shook the .... out of it. What am I missing? (I've been dropping 6mg for months)

Let's make sure we are using the right units here.

Wheelie, 50% nicotine would be approximately 500 mg/ml (hella scary) 50 mg/ml is closer to 5% nicotine.

Coupon78, are you sure the nicotine concentration of the base you are using is 50 mg/ml? Or is it possibly 50 ml of nicotine at a different concentration? I only ask because the e-juice industry has settled on the colossally stupid convention of describing nicotine concentration as "mg," which leads to a lot of confusion.
