I have about 5 30mL bottles of WOW peppermint at 24mg/mL nic from V4L that are 100% PG. I have several 6mL bottles. I have 60mg/mL nic and pure VG. I downloaded the excel spreadsheet for DIY, but didn't see anything on there about converting premixed juice. I obviously can't add extra flavoring, so I'll have to do with what's already in the 30mL bottle. Anywho...I want to make a 5mL batch of 80/20, maintaining 24mg/mL using what I listed above. Any tips?

You'd need approximately:

3.33ml or 66% of your 24 mg original flavor mix
1ml or 20% of vg
.67ml or 13.4% of the 60mg nic.

This comes out to 5 ml of 24.02 mg's of nic.

I used the excel calculator under PG Calculator Section 4, put in 1ml of 0mg for the vg (20% of 5 is 1), and entered the mg of the main juice and the plain nic, just adjusting the ml amount until the total amount was 5ml and around 24 mg.

The nic is PG based. I made a 5mL batch already and it seems to produce more vapor than 100%PG with no noticeable difference in TH. How high, percentage-wise, do you think I can go with VG before I notice a drop in TH?

I tried the spreadsheet, but on the PG tab, I didn't notice anything for VG, and vice-versa for the VG tab. I guess I'll have to take another look at it. It's a bit overwhelming for a new DIYer.

Thanks for the info.

I use 40% PG in my mixes, for a more mild throat hit.

There's no VG spot to enter that amount, you just enter the ml and 0 nic in one of the slots to account for the VG.
