So I've been vaping a little over a week and am finding that pg irritates my throat. I ordered a bunch of 70/30 PG/VG juice and some 50/50, the 50/50 isn't as bad. I bought some VG from wizard labs and I'm wondering how much VG do I need to add to the 50/50 and 70/30 to get around a 70VG/30PG mix? I know it will dilute the nicotine and flavor a bit but I figured I'd give it a shot until my new juice gets shipped. Thanks

This can't really be answered.

70% of 30ml is 21ml. 30% of 30ml is 9ml. The only problem is there isn't really 21ml of pg in that bottle.

To find out for sure you would have to know how much flavoring there is because the pg/vg ratio is strictly the amount of those 2 ingredients.

If we assume (we don't really know) there is 20% flavor that would mean there is actually 6ml. 30ml minus the 6ml of flavor leaves you with 24ml of pg and vg. 70% of that 24 is 16.8ml and the remaining 7.2ml would be pg. By that logic adding 9.6ml of vg would balance them out but, again, you won't know unless the company tells you what percent is flavor.

To add more fun to what we don't know, how much pg is in the flavor and do you need to calculate that, lol.

edit - I know you didn't ask but adding that amount of vg would cut and 18mg mix down to 13.6mg

I don't know about vendors, but the calculators I've used take into account the base of your flavoring (vg or pg) when calculating your mix. If it is 70/30 it is really 70/30 including flavorings.
For instance, if the flavorings are pg based they become part of the pg percentage in the overall calculation.
