I approach my ratios like this: 20% flavoring+ distilled water the rest vg. I find pg mixes have a slight chemical taste to them. Took me a while, and a few vendors and a good bit of cash to discover why everything tasted just a bit off. After being part of the DIY world for a while now I'm going to try a few mixes replacing the distilled water with pg just to check but I love my liquids. Plus higher vg gives some nice clouds!

Generally I use a 50/50 blend but recent I made some 60/40 (pg/vg) The reason for the higher PG is because lately I've been using cartos as well as the other "mediums" I'd use... and the more liquid the final product, the better it wicks. I also want to see if it helps the flavor be a little more potent. I know there are people that don't believe that PG carries flavor better but in my experience, it does. I'm no master mixing by any means (the only reason I still buy vendor juices on occasion) so that's just been my experience. I've had 0 luck making 100% VG juice or even high VG juice. The highest I go is 50/50... and it's best of wicking and flavor issues, personally. (I have no allergies/ sensitivities to either Vg or PG as far as I know)

Have you tried mixing any DW or PGA to a 100% VG mix? it will thin it down. I make batches of 100%VG and 70/30 VG/PG for my daughter in law and she hasn't had any problems w/it. @ 50/50 its just to harsh for her and that's w/just 12%nic.

Like you I have no problems w/PG.

I did a test today and mixed up some 70/30 PG/VG to a pink bubble gum that I like and low and behold the flavor was different a bit more intense, I could taste it better actually it was a bit too strong in comparison to the 50/50 mix I initially had made
