Adding your own nicotine

I did try searching briefly, but using the work 'nicotine' destroys your search results

I want to order all my liquid from the states, but I live in Canada. I keep reading that you can just order no-nicotine juice and add your own once you have it.

I found this from a local vendor: Base 48 50/50 PG/VG USP

Obviously 48mg would need to diluted but what if you aren't starting from scratch? What if you have 10ml of juice and you want 18mg strength, but 48mg diluted mix?

Can anyone point me in the direction of that kind of math?

This is my initial guess, but that seems like waaaaay too much: 48mg / 18mg = 2.6ml mix per 10ml juice = 12.6ml at 18mg strength

I checked it out, but I'm not sure if this is the result I'm looking for. Seems even higher than my estimate.

According to the calculator I would need to add 6ml of mix to 10ml of liquid, which unfortunately would kill the liquid.

Damn, ok. Well screw that noise, I'm gunna get 0 nicotine and I'll have to like it. Can't be bothered to hunt down more concentrated mix in Canada lol.
