What about additives used for various flavorings? To me that seems like a major risk involved in the safety of liquids. Particularly as more get involved and attempt more creative flavors via creative measures.
While the Nic extraction methods may be controlled this area seems to be risky in my view. It wouldn't take much of a mistake for a supplier to use something that is caustic or becomes caustic when vaporized which results in serious illness or someone's death.

As much as the FDA may seem like the enemy for some, I think the long term survival of the industry and community will depend upon regulation.

Just my .02

Thanks!

I understand the concerns about flavorings. But I tend to just think of it this way..........I KNOW FOR CERTAIN that cigarettes were killing me. I cannot believe that flavorings can be nearly as harmful as the 4,000+ chemicals I was inhaling before, so therefore, I do not worry about it.

I can say, however, if you are concerned, get some plain nic with no flavoring and vape that. Maybe that would give you a clear head. Xtremevaping has some excellent nic juice. I have vaped it (diluted with a 50/50 PG/VG mix to 26mg) and it has a nice clean taste. No chemical taste at all. Levy has some great stuff!!

Hope that helps!

I'm thinking of some half wit faux chemist making and selling stuff with a creative ingredient that he/she has no clue about which results in the death of an unsuspecting vaper. Think about China and the additives put in kid's formula, or the melamine put into the food chain because someone incorporated it into livestock feed. It isn't a stretch at all for someone (with good intentions) using something that seems like a great idea, but turns out to be deadly.
