I made my first NT order at the begging of January and it consisted of Virus, Wakonda, and CLS.

Virus is an ADV for me, I'm wating on Monday hoping there will be a discount so I can stock up on it. And even if there's no discount for it, I'll buy a 60ml bottle or two. Wakonda is a very nice vape also, I'll get some when it's on sale, not really an ADV for me because at around hlf a tank I stop tasting the coffee (mind you it's my tastebuds, if I leave the tank alone for an hour and come back I get the coffee back).

That being said, from the start I had very little flavor with CLS - which doesn't match the hype I've been seeing about it. I've gone from 5 watts to 15 on an istick on a Nautilus (BVC) at both 1.6 and 1.8 ohms. I've also tried it on a friends kayfun lite at 1.0ohm and a variety of wattages. Don't get me wrong the actual flavor I get is good, but it's so mild that I have to actively think about tasting the flavor enjoy it. The clouds are perfect.

Anyways, I decided to go through the other bottles first and give CLS some time to steep. My bottle was born on the second of December. I just started a 1.5ml tank to see if it's progressing, but alas no change at all on the flavor profile.

My question: What wattage do you people use to get the most flavor out of CLS and so you generally find you need to steep it for long before the flavor comes through?

Welcome to the NutHouse! Happy to have Ya here. Wait till Tuesday for the weekly special if there is one, I believe Tuesday is when its announced. You can also sign up for the newsletter on the website. On my phone or I'd insert a link for you. Sorry.
CLS does best with a steep or age. 2-4 weeks and the flavors will really start to develop. The longer it goes the more forward the custard will become.

I hit CLS between 9 and 15 watts

When i used CLS in my protank with stock coil, I hit it around 8watts...any higher and I got burnt taste...this has been true for me with any companies juices...when I used it in the REO, i would do a coil between 1.2ohms and 1.4ohms...that put it in the 12 watts or so range...i always got good flavor, but after awhile i would loose the taste...switch to something else for a bit and come back to it being great again...that said i have never had an issue with it being light on taste...might want to send a system message to the folks over at Nicoticket and see if they can also help you. Or on Monday, catch them online with the in system chat on the site..

I also like my juices at around the 2 month mark, seems when its hitting its prime for me

It should have been good on flavor in the KFL @ 1.0ohm. I personally have to give it 2 months steep to be enjoyable but that shouldn't change amount of flavor compared to the steep you already have. I second the suggestion of using the in chat system on the Nicoticket website during the week.

Weekly specials are announced on Mondays. I think there will be a stampede when The Virus goes on sale :)

Thank you all! It seems I'll just leave the bottle steeping for a couple of weeks and come back to it and try it again after that. I'm also getting a Lemo this week so I might try some .6 ~ .8 coils and see if I can get a stronger flavor out of CLS. If it doesnt improve I guess I'll just finish it and go for the other flavors as I'm super impressed with ther other two I got. I'm already subscribed to the newsletter and have bookmarked the juice specials thread, the moment I see Virus there I'll throw money at my screen :)

It may just be your tastebuds (body chemistry). I like you can get no taste from CLS, nor Raz cup and Strawnilla although each has a deep steep on it. The others are sublime.

I thought of this, but to be honest I've never had a problem tasting ejuice and I love custard flavors. The flavor I do get is ok though, so It's not like it's a waste. I'll still vape it :p

You are going to love that Lemo. I bought one, liked it so much that I bought 2 more. My Kayfun's don't get as much use anymore.

I know I could go this route, but since I came back to vaping - i got my gear stolen and pretty much stopped vaping until I started getting cig craving late last year - I'm pretty much decided to do either a tank or a RTA with a single coil and a mod with a small form factor. Hence the Lemo and an iStick 30w. I just want the best vape I can get on that setup even though I know you're right and I could just go big and enjoy my plumes of vapor.

Good to have even more positive opinions about. I just want to make sure the airflow is to my liking before commiting to buy 3 or 4 more for my rotation. Thanks!

So weird man, compared to other NT Juices i also get less flavor from Raz Cup. However with Virus, Wakonda and Frenilla its like a flavor explosion!

Thank you for the candid feedback! Unfortunately there's no silver bullet that hits for everyone. That said, I like CLS at high heat, generally less than half an ohm on a mech, and usually steeped 8-12 weeks... Like all custard vapes, it gets richer and more decadent with time and patience. I hope that helps?

Hmm, I think I will be following your and mackman's recommendation. Gonna get some Virus and Frenilla today. What's your take on ACB and Radioactive?

Oh I know, as I mentioned the flavor I do get is good and I'm sure with more experimentation I'll find a setting that allows me to taste what others are going crazy for. Your product is great and you're definately getting repeat business from me! Thanks for the advice :)

ACB is creme brulee on steriods in my book :) its really good
Radioactive is good too, but a long steeper...then again both of these are long steepers..both hit great at around the 3 month mark

I have a confession - I almost dumped CLS because it took so long to hit for me. It was almost never released.

Thank you for the loyalty my friend! We're not so big that we don't value every single family member... I don't take that loyalty for granted. Thank you, again.

It's possible to have some blank spots in your taste buds. CLS was like that for me. I really struggle with tasting vanillas, especially when I first started vaping, and the problem hasn't gotten much better for me. Not really surprising given that I spent most of my life sucking on something that was on fire.

Good point Thunder... my 'affinity' for vanilla (CLS, Frenilla) has really been enhanced with additional time that has passed since I quit, also.
