This is probably going to sound silly - but how does the new adjustable 510 work? I have a nuppin on my new woodvil and it seems to be leaking slightly under it. Is this what I would adjust it for? This is my first reo with adjustable 510 so I'm just a little clueless on what use the adjustable portion is and does and if adjusting it will solve my leaking issue. Thanks!!!

The hex key you received with your Woodvil will fit the hole in the 510 positive connection. It is reverse threaded. Turn it clockwise, and it will raise the positive. Turning it counter clockwise will lower it. I like to adjust mine, so that with the atomizer snug, there's about the thickness of a piece of paper between the bottom of the atty, and the top of the mod. I leave this slight space so that I don't scratch the wood when I put the top cap on.

Note that if your atty fires fine already, you're just adjusting for air hole placement and/or aesthetics (flushness of fit).

I'm not sure that an adjustment will cure your leaking problem, though. It might if your current connection of atty/510 is not super snug and the adjusted pin allows you a firmer connection.

FWIW, I thought I could run the new 510 without an oring under it, but I find I still had some occasional leakage. Plopped an oring in there and it's been dry as a bone ever since.
this may have been what stopped the leaking on my nuppin on the grand. It didn't at first, but maybe finally got seated well or something, because it suddenly stopped. Every atty had leaked on the grand before that and was so frustrating. But I've had very little issue since using the O ring

Logicly speaking the only way juice would rise out of the 510 connection would be if the threads on the nuppin are a little slimmer and the juice channel is tight going up to the atty to where the juice would take the path of least resistance and thst would be threw the 510 threads. If that's the case then I guess the oring under the atty would be the only solution.

I think the most likely case is just from over squanking or tilting the mod to the o e side where the un vaped juice is likely to leak out from the air hole and fall beneath the atty base and pool under it.

Have the watch it once to see if the atty is level over a few squanks and vapes and check to see where the juice is coming from.

You are probably right. If I had to guess, oversquonking would probably be my first. ;)

No, there is not that i know of. If that grub screw is down, then you have reached the lowest adjustment.
The connector on the new woodies looks to be a little shorter than with the metals. All the atties that I've tried (mebbee 6) sit higher on my 3 new woodies. This results in gaps with some of them, even with the grub adjusted fully in.

The grub screw is the only adjustment in the new 510 connector
Thank's everyone for the quick responses . That eases my mind Papa ,it's good to know it's not an isolated issue with just my Woody . I tried a Veritas on mine and it seated fully , haven't tried any other atty's on it yet .

Some atomizers will stick up on reos its the atty builders not sticking to a set of standard specs . Take a standard atty and thread it onto your mod it will seat down perfectly just making contact . I suppose I could have left the mod set up so even a green horn would have had to use the adjustable 510 . You can imagine how much tech support this would entail . I get emails all the time my mod doesn't work . I reply you need to adjust your 510 connection . I get a email back with a thank you . So some atomizers are not even making contact without adjusting the 510 . Makes a guy want to toss himself in the dirt

No problem with mine working , the RM2 actually surprised me with it's performance , now that I know , I'm thinking I can sand down the 510 on the RM2 .

If you have a round point file you can adjust the post on the rm2 it is threaded most rebuildables the center posts can be adjusted via screw or some kind of press
