What are these? Are there any advantages of having one of these compared to the regular one? At the present time I am getting some whistling sound when I take a draw as if I am getting some air. This causes a decrease in the actual throat hit. Will the adjustable draw fix this problem or is there some other solution.
The adjustible draw (came standard with my new GGTS) is the remedy for all of the differences/tolerances in atomizer quality. Some atty's just "whistle" and suck on air, others are almost perfect 'tight' draws (small amount of air with lots of flavorful vapor). When you find the perfectly built "atty" for you, you'll just know... and you'll be upset when it dies.
The adjustible draw allow you to be able to find that perfect draw that your favorite atty had by sealing the new chamber that comes standard with the latest GGTS. a simple twist of the control ring opens up the small holes or closes them. The cap also muffles the sizzling sound coming from the atty, making it a much quieter vape.
But the adjustable draw cap [sold separately] only works on the New GGTS style atomizer end-cap or as an optional part for the upgrade kit since it only caps (or seals) the collector tank built into this new end-cap.
So... don't buy the adjustible draw cap unless you have the latest atomizer end-cap for the GGTS.
It's used to cap the collector tank when you don't have the AVS installed and this allows you to use the adjustable draw ring on the current adaptor.
Battery > Collector/tank > adjustable draw cap > atty
Or Battery > Collector tank > AVS with Atty > Mouthpiece (
No adjustable draw cap)
