So I have my beloved Grand sporting a less beloved ERA clone. Both my Reomizers, when screwed all the way onto the Grand end up with the airhole pointing towards the door, i.e. 90 degrees short of where they should point. If I loosen them up to where the hole points the correct way (with a thicker o-ring under them), they don't make contact with the positive pin :(

Both reomizers work beautifully on my Mini. Problem is that Mini doesn't carry enough juice, and is less comfortable to squonk.

So, any chance I can fix it up so that my reomizers would work on my Grand?

Thanks!

Commie

Pull the tube and slightly push up on the pin from inside the Reo. If you push up on the pin with the tube installed you could possibly cut the tube and have a leak. Ask me how I know:facepalm:

Thanks for the heads up. Not an issue now, but good to know this stuff. And I'm just smart enough to learn from your experience :)

Thanks, folks! I didn't know that the positive pin in the reomizers was turnable. I was worried about experimenting, it being ceramic and all :)

Needn't worry about the ceramic. The center post and coil posts actually thread into a metal plate that is hiding beneath the ceramic. Turning any of the posts 1/4 to 1/2 turn should not be a problem, as long as you don't use gorilla force.

3 or 4 after after doing the adjustment I had juice all over the inside. Figured maybe I'd had a leak from the air hole and it had run down inside the door. Cleaned it all up and had it again the next day. finally put 2 & 2 together and found a small slit in the tube. Luckily I had a spare tube on hand.
