So I made these "select-an-airhole" things for the RM2 because I wanted to do just that ( . . . . select an air hole). They range from 1.35mm to 1.7mm in six positions. This is something I always wanted to do. Say you make a super low resistance dual coil in your RM2, that just begs for more air than a little .8Ω firecracker. So all that is great. Works good.
Meantime, tho, I'm dealing with the loss of voltage boosting capacity that I had with my brass shim mod. I could vape without the shim for the first half of battery cycle and then engage it to boost my voltage in the battery charge range of 3.85-3.65V. With the safer fuse mod, I'm back to a one-speed bicycle here.
So, imagine (if you will) my joy and surprise when I discovered that; as the battery loses charge, I can tighten up the draw on my airflow control and heat up my vape, as well as boost the TH! What fun! It's like a choke valve!

I made it from the tank tube of a mini DID clone. (one can get 2 or 3 per tube) That thing was such a scavenger's treasure trove! It was under $10; and I got the tube, an SS drip tip, screws for RM2 atty post replacement, a better post&nuts for AGA-T, o-rings, and a nice storage tin! (and that's all leftovers from after i modded the thing into a dripping atty) This link is not where I got it; but it shows the model I used. Maybe the <$10 direct from China deal is still out there.
