If you love sub ohm, it's right up your alley.

Advantages
Up to 20 watts of power
Wattage adjustable in .1 watt increments (I believe)
Did I mention, up to 20 watts of power
Nice status display
Oh yeah, it has 20 watts of power

Disadvantages
It has a hard time with low power applications, once you get below it's cutoff voltage, it just dumps the batteries output direct.

Not to derail or hijack the thread, but I just noticed your location. Have you gone to VapeDojo yet? They are VERY knowledgeable, have great prices, and are just around the corner from you ... I recommend their Blueberry Vanilla Tobacco flavor, it's awesome!

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread ...

What Thrasher was pointing out was the lower cutoff for it is 1.0 Ohm. If you COULD do that it would be 5 amps at 4 volts. With the resistance of 1.0 Ohm, you'd get 17.7 watts at 4.2 volts and amps. Not sure what the atomizer would actually be seeing though, it wouldn't be 4.2 volts. 20 would be about 4.5 volts and amps.

Another way of looking at it. If you were using a mech to drive that 0.8 Ohm coil, the best you could do would theoretically be 5.25 amps at 4.2 volts for a total of 22.05 watts. That would steadily drop off as the battery depleted. The DNA20, being regulated, would keep the voltage up so you'd have a much more consistent vape over the life of the battery.

The DNA20D is excellent in my opinion, I'm using one since many months on my self-built mod and couldn't be more satisfied.

But the DNA is 'just' the electronics of a mod, you'll need to build your own mod or to find a pre-built mod containing it..

Pros: variable wattage, serious power, excellent reliability, good battery duration, nice display, able to use sub-ohm configurations (not the most extreme ones, though)

Cons: It's a step-up only circuit, so if you try to push too many watts on a (too) sub-ohm atomizer it will just step aside and pass the full battery voltage to the atomizer. Which may or may not be what you want... Watch PBusardo's review of the DNA20D for details.

For my needs, I'd give it a 9 out of 10.
