Ok! So I've been struggling with deciding on the color to order for my first Provari & I've now made a decsion! PURPLE!! Sorry I'm a Libra...apparently it's pretty common with us lol! So now I was hoping some owners could tell me the advantages to buying the extension cap & 18650 batteries & if you did order the extension did you buy the regular batteries as well? What's the battery life like between the two different batteries? Right now I have 2 of each type of battery in my cart but want some opinions before I buy.

I may not have bought the extensions but I did get the blue led on my black and purple and think it was worth the extra $15. I looked at the purple blem for weeks before I caved and so glad I did! I can't find any blemish anywhere on it. You will LOVE it!

I see you're not too far from me. I live in Albemarle. There's a vape meet in Raleigh tomorrow and I'm planning on going. You ought to come! The details are on the location specific/tarheel vapors forum. (My purple provari will be with me lol)

Thanks! No we're not far apart at all!! I went ahead & just got 2 batteries to start & ill order the extension cap later if I feel like I need too. Unfortunately I won't get to make it to the meeting today due to work but I would like to attend the next one!

I haven't fully decided one way or another if I'm going. It's a 4 hour drive for me (there and back) I wouldn't get home till 8 or 9 tonight. I wish they would have it earlier.. like 12 or 1. If you decide to get into RBAs and need help, let me know and we could get together and I'll try to help with what I've learned.

Absolutely! I don't know if I'm that brave yet! Lol! But I'm sure ill eventually try them out! I can't blame you! That is a little bit of a trip especially so late in the day. Maybe Saturdays would be better since most people would have Sunday to recover or earlier like you said. But I'd love to go to a meet and get a chance to talk to so fellow vapers. No offense to Blu cig but that's what most of the people I know use so when I start to talk about ecig mods they have no idea what the heck I'm talking about!!

Oh...what kind of tanks do you have on your Provari's?

I only know 2 other vapers and I recruited them both. One does it full time but she lives an hour away and pretty much never leaves the house.. she finally has 2 provaris.. the other I work with but she only plays at it.

Rebuildables are easy once you get the hang of it. It's a steep learning curve, especially when I'm by myself and just watching youtube videos. But the vape it amazing! I was a diehard carto tank fan and now I can't go back!

I have a zap.. which I consider the best beginner rba. It comes preassembled and has lots of extra prerolled and preoxidized wicks. It also has a video of Zen himself, showing step by step how to set it up. It also sells pretty quickly in the classys if need be. I have a did clone (vulcan from surevapes) for some reason, I can only get it work about half the time. When it works, it's awesome but it doesn't work consistent enough. I just bought a real DID off the classys and I love it.. no burnt taste (like the mini clone) I can easily setup and keep the high-end rba's working great but the clone keeps giving a burnt taste no matter what I do. Plus the top cap on it is so wobbly it falls off constantly.

My non-mesh rebuildable is the drunker tank and it's great! easy to rebuild and works great. It's also much more purse friendly than the others. The zap and did can't be left for long on their sides or they will leak out the fill hole. But the drunker, which was only $15, gives great vapor and flavor and hasn't leaked on me yet.

I think I've talked myself into going this evening LOL. I've nothing else to do today

So true, Im a Libra also and it takes me forever to decide.. then I second guess myself if I made the right choice.... You will never go wrong with a Provari.. About the ext. cap, the standard cap has a sharp edge where as the ext. caps edge is rounded off...has a much better feel in the hand...plus will give longer run times...Order one....

I was in the same situation in not being able to find a tank that was both well made and suited the aesthetics of the Provari perfectly. I came up with a few mostly out of stock when I stumbled upon Vaperfexion. Vaperfexion offers a few different tanks that look perfect as well as built unbelievably sturdy.

While my photography skills are lacking; I think you get the idea....
