New to this and overfilled the reservoir. It now bubbles instead of producing vapour and puts tiny amount of liquid into my mouth...not good. Have poured some out, but what to do to get it right again please?

If its spitting and making a bubbling sound then you most likely flooded the tank. But yes, what are you using??

There are very few instructions with them, no idea how full the tank should be. How do I dry it out?
What have you bought. Is it an eGo battery e-cig? (Cigar-sized black/silver) with a plastic tank?
a lot of times a pipe cleaner gently run thru the drip tip will collect the overage in the tube.
may hve to use a couple if overfilled a lot.
general rule of thumb is to not fill above the bottom edge of "rubber" inside of tank

Try taking it off your battery and blowing through the drip tip into a paper towel, it should clear out the center and fix the gargling. You want the filling to look slightly damp. I used to use tissues to soak any excess from the top.

Wrap the tank in a paper towel being sure to cover the bottom of the tank
Blow gently through the drip tip to force any excess juice out.
Puff lightly on the drip tip and listen for gurgling
Repeat as necessary until no longer gurgling
Reassemble and vape on

When this happens with my T3's I just take 'em outside and give 'em a few good flicks with the drip tip pointing down. Excess juice flies out and all is well again.
I use a combination of things. Take the tank off your battery and grab a few paper towels. Make sure the bottom part of your tank (where it attaches to your battery) is over the paper towels and gently but firmly blow through the drip tip. The excess liquid will blow out onto the paper towels. Make sure to close your eyes or wear glasses when you do this - juice in the eyes is not fun. Take a dry vape, and if no gurgles, grab a paper towel, twist a corner up tightly and gently push down into the center of the tank. Let it sit in there for a second or two - this soaks up any extra juice left in the center. Re-attach and vape away. If, by chance, you're using a carto tank, skip that last step. It won't be necessary.

Worst case, empty the entire thing, wash, dry and refill.
With a bottom wick clearo (BCC) you waste almost nothing.
