just received capellas and mixed up 7 diff flavors at 20% 18mg nic 70/30 pg vg . I first tried flavors from vaporshots and they seemed really clean but don't think I used enough flavoring because I didn't have anything but droppers at the time for measuring flavoring and went by 20drops being 1ml according to the calculator. Ive seen other posts saying 40 drops is actually a ml . But im not sure if they were talking about the vz alcohol flavoring . Anyone used capellas or vz, and do you like them. Ive been steeping the capellas in rice in a mini potpourri warmer. Havent tried all of them yet

Get some syringes. And depending on the vc flavors some are very different percentages. 1.5 percent or less even as they are super concentrated alcohol flavors. Some of the vz flavors are not super concentrated so it depends. In the future list specifically what you are mixing. Flavor maker, percentages used, pg/ vg ratio, and nic level. This helps when answering questions. Also what PV you are vaping them on.

Edit - I have liked the capella's I have tried and some of the VZ flavors. The VZ requires long steep time for me and very low percentages.

For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum. You will not be able to post there until you get in your first 5 posts and the servers update at :25 past the hour. Make sure to read all the "stickies". Also check out the blogs by ECF members Hoosier & dannyv45.

For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp

I usually go with 65/35 or 70/30 pg/vg and 18 mg nic or 12nic for my girlfriend. I mixed watermelon, harvest berry, van custard, peachs n cream, apple pie, cin Danish swirl, all at 20% and a sweet strawberry mixed w nycheescake at 10% each . Ive tried a couple after a heat steep and sitting for 2 days or more like 1 1/2 days . They tasted good but my coil is not working the best so anxious to try on a new coil. Correction apple pie at 15% and peaches n cream at 15% the rest at 20%.

You need to back up and start right.
Proper measuring equipment is crucial to good/safe mixing

The e-liquid forum has a great DIY section.

You also need to work in Small Batches to see what actually works for you. Capella, most flavorings are light and higher percentages work. NOT ALL though.
VZ Sells some very high concentrates that only take .1-.3ml in a 10 Ml mix..........so 20% will ruin it for you.

Read, Ask, Learn - it takes time but is well worth the work.

To repeat what's been said, start light and work it up. Use a dripping atty to state when your mix in progress smells right. Of course, shake often. When it tastes good but light, let it steep a week or so.

Also, drops are a poor measuring standard. Depending on viscosity and aperture size, one ml can be 10 to 80 drops. Get some syringes, 1 to 10 ml. I suggest adding any concentrate in .1 to .5 ml increments.

And good luck getting your perfect recipes mastered :)
