Advice Needed: Provari Accessories

I have a bigdaddyvape 5ml SS tank, I notice they all come with (and are only available in 1.5 ohm cartomizers). I see people here say that a 2.5-3.2 is better with the provari. Any advice on this? I have looked into the liquinator (always sold out), the LavaTank (better odds of winning the lottery than to buy one). I don't mind dripping but need to better understand how/where to spend my money.

I understand that (generally speaking) 10w is a good area to be vaping with most juices (I range from 8.5-10.5). My questions are:
1. Can I place a higher resistance pre-punched XL cartomizer in my bdv 5ml?
2. Do you have a vendor that you could recommend for all my Provari needs?
(edit: by the above I mean, cartomizers, atomizers, dripshield, etc...)
Any other advice for vaping on this? I use the tank during trips, and drip while at home. I was reading about the empire shield and it talks about needing a 510-901 adapter, is this the case?

Yes, you can use a higher ohm XL carto on the big daddy, They are the same size of the 1.5 ohm. the diference betewwn the ohm is that the lower recistance have less wire in the coil and the higher ohm have more wire in the coil. as of where to buy them I dont really know because I havent moved on from 3.7v until I get back home from deployment I wont have the money to buy one, guess Ill have to wait about 3 month to try VV. good look getting your stuff some one might come later and tell you about a vendor that sell them at a good price.

I am using a Lil' Mama tank on mine, same thing as the Big Daddy except shorter poly tube and standard length cartos. You can get 3.0 ohm XL cartos that will fit the Big Daddy tank.

If you are going to buy a large quantity of cartos, try vapor kings. They have the greatest deal for a bigger amount. If you buy 50, they come out at .75 I think. Plus you can use a 10% discount with cupon code VKBC. Hope it helps out some.

I have the 5ml big daddy tank also and you can use any XL or XXL dual coil carto you want in it. I went to the local hardware store and bought a saddle valve to punch my own cartos. It works great and punches a slightly bigger hole than the prepunched one. The unpunched XL cartos seem to be more readily available than the punched ones. I get the cartos from smoktek.
