Hello forum. Im new here and is in need of assistance about the product.
Hope you guys could help out.

Which site(s) do you usually buy this product safely and reliably?

What flavor can you recommend to a complete noob like me (ill probably need the ones closest to the taste of real smoke)

How much and how long does each cartridge last?

Thx in advance.

Hi,

I am from Ontario also.. Take a look in the Canadian forum here, supplier info is in there.

For your 1st order its best to order from a local supplier. You won't run into any issues getting your order past customs.

In canada there is:

Happy Vaper - out of toronto, they sell the 510. All their e-juice has no nicotine tho

Vapesmart - again out of toronto, they sell 810/910. Smaller selection of e-juice but they have nicotine

Vapables - out of ontario. Only sell e-juice with nicotine. Larger selection.

All these companies will get your order to you in 1 to 3 days.

As for carts, they suck. Take what the suppliers claim, like equal to 50 cigs, and divide by 100 for the truth. Look up how to drip.

For flavors, get any tobacco one, and also get a flavor. The longer you are not smokeing the more you will enjoy a flavor other than tobacco.

I can't offer any help as I don't live in Canada and it looks like Props has you pretty well covered in that area.

I do, though, want to welcome you to ECF forum. It's a great source of information on all things e-cig.

I like the "510" model and would recommend it. The 901 and KR808D-1 are also very popular on this forum.

As for carts they don't last very long at all. I suggest you buy a bottle or two of juice and refill the carts as needed. The vapor and flavor will decrease as you use a cart. You can just add a few drops and you're back in business.

As for "realistic" flavors here are the ones I prefer:

(I smoked Marlboro Mediums)

#1 - Marlboro aka "USA Mix" aka "marlybo" or other clever misspellings Fairly realistic flavor and a bit of punch to it. Smokey flavor with a little tobacco and very slightly sweet finish. More satisfying than the other flavors I've tried.

#2 - Virginia. Smoother and less powerful than Marlboro but very nice.

#3 - "Flucured tobacco" similar to Virginia. Smooth tobacco flavor. Not a lot of punch.

#4 - Hilton. Smokey dry flavor with a kick. Maybe tastes more like Winston cigarettes?

#5 - 555. Dry with a taste of mixed nuts.

Hi!

As a fellow Canadian, there are some great retailers in the Canadians forum.

If you want a 510 model - Happy Vaper. He's awesome, and is the best person to talk to regarding this model in Canada...bar none.

If you want a M401, Sean at electroniccigz. He's great.

I've shopped from both, and offer great products and services.

For juice, Canvape gets awesome reviews from Canadians. I haven't ordered myself, but people rave about him.

If you want a 2 piece model, such as the Kr-808D1 cartomizer (which I use), I purchased mine from a US supplier, Vapor4Life. There are others who ship to Canada, but I haven't ordered from them in regards to hardware. My experience (obviously due to my banner sig) was VERY positive, and shipping speed is only a couple days longer than Canadian shipping.

Just a personal opinion, but I cannot recommend 3 piece models for new vapers. Too complicated, and too many things to take into consideration. If you get a two piece, you screw on a cartomizer (juice, filling and atomizer all in one), and you vape, no fuss, no muss.

I have a bag full of older models which, while great pieces of equipment, just weren't "THE ONE" for me. Most of go through this process of finding whats right. And, I am sure you will too.

Feel free to post this in the Canadian Forum, and you'll get a LOT more suggestions.

The lingo is a bit confusing, I know, but if you read through for subforums for a few hours, you will be an expert in no time.
:D

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I own a 510, an M401 and the 2 piece model, and can do my best to help you.

Thx for all your input. Ill be reading more about this especially the reloading section which sounds complicated. Really hope this works.

Not nearly as complicated as you might think, just a case of dripping a few drops of e-liquid into a the cartridge until it is full, and then you are done! Any instructions you read may seem a bit complicated until you've got the kit in your hands and you will see how basic and simple everything is.

Welcome to ECF!
