Hi, so I bought my mom a riva a few weeks ago, and she's loving it. However, she has a manual and I guess wherever she puts it, it manages to put pressure on the button and leaves the atty running until the riva is so hot it burns her when she goes to grab it, so I was going to get an automatic battery, but she decided she wants to try her hand at a different model all together.
She still has her heart set on a analog-like e-cig, particularly the cigarette box looking pcc/case
but of course the only ones I'm finding are over priced, lackluster models from questionable companies.

So does anyone have a suggestion for an analog-like quality e-cig or analog carton like carrying case?
Maybe even a white k4808 kit with cig filter like cartomizers would be great. Preferably blanks, as she doesn't like high nicotine tobacco flavors, she prefers 8mg vg juices.

I'd definitely rec the KR808D-1 for general ease of use if you want something that looks like an analog. I haven't seen a PCC for it that looks like a pack of analogs, but the most popular PCC for it looks like a regular cigarette case! You can find these at several vendors, but I know Vapor4Life has the cases in cute finishes (like zebra!) and LiteCigUSA has the best prices on them that I've seen.

My mom had big issues with the whole button thing when she started too. I got her the XL kit that Keyzgirl suggested with automatic batteries. She eventually went with the manual batteries because they're just easier to use and you get a better vape but that really worked for her. I filled her cartos for her and really made sure I kept the battery clean so she didn't fry too many batteries. But she did lose a couple.

If that's what's going to work for her- get something like that for her. I've never checked out LiteCigs KR808 but I have ordered from them and they're a great company. I got the kit for my Mom from V4L because they have such great sales.

Was it something I said?
The new auto switches on 808 batteries like the bloog maxxfussion are foolproof. They hit instantly, as quick or even quicker than an analog. I think the bloog maxx fusion is by far the best analog replacement you can get. It is a little pricey, but I'm ok with that, not only does it keep me off the stinky sticks, but it has proven to be even better.

Most of what you hear about manual vs. auto is comparing the old auto batteries. Give the new ones a shot, they are awesome.

I still recommend manual. The Riva button presses easily and the battery is heavy so combine those and yes it could turn on the battery. A KR8 manual should not turn on its own battery. You can get auto but you need to refill those cartos and the place a carto will leak is right where the drag sensor of an auto battery is - get juice on the drag sensor and you can ruin the battery.
