Sir or ma'am whichever may apply. You are correct. I will edit the post to reflect this. Battery safety is no joke and I genuinely should have looked deeper into this. It was not surprising to me due to the near amp limit of available devices and a quick search provided many hits that reflected this limit. I was wrong though and yes pulse rating should never be mistaken for continuous draw.

Agreed, I was being facetious in my post for the 35a LG and just wanted to insure nobody mistook it for a continuous rating lol

hah, didn't mean to stir up all that! Yeah, after doing more reading, they're more like 20a and 2500mah, which is still pretty sweet! They're listed as 35amp on a few sites though, a bit misleading.

Research is ALWAYS required in battery application as sites will do this ALL THE TIME to make you think they are better than sony VTC line, but make no mistake, there has YET to be a SINGLE battery that can best the sony VTC line in 18650 batteries, anyone who claims otherwise (at the moment) is FULL of it lol....oh and sony VTC's are a 30a continuous btw (although some will dispute it, I still believe in it with what I have put my VTC's through lol)

Haha, sadly, I sort of just blindly trusted the guys at my vapor store for that one. They don't usually let me down, but no doubt if you didn't trust the place you were buying from you need to do some research. Though the guy at the store did tell me it was 35a, hah, I promptly double-checked that when you mentioned something was up.

I would hardly say I got fooled or anything though, I basically walked in and was like, gimme 2x18650s 2x 18500s and an 18350, lol, I trusted whatever I got would be decent, they were all AW's except for the LG 18650s. It's nice when you can trust a place enough not to hand you a pile of garbage, though.

It sounds like the highest capacity sonys are a bit scarce to find right now, so these LG's probably aren't a half bad alternative. I honestly rock my 18500 paps most of these days, so I'm not a huge capacity chaser, but I'm building a 2x18650 dna 40 box mod that should hold me over when I need it!

Not stirred up at all, Being wrong and admitting it is just part of being an adult. The important thing is that you have a good battery that will be safe and function for you perfectly. Whether an HE or a different option you should have something that functions right, that whats important.
