The choir singing in the background while reading that post is beautiful. Thank you. I couldn't have said it better myself.
For others who don't seem to get it that eGo is not a one-size-fits-all:
Stop sending people asking for Chinese food to Taco Bell.
Thanks man...that's a great analogy.
I'm almost a year vaping and I must say...having just started using eGo style batteries...I still feel that it looks weird when I'm out. I think that when offering advice...it's important to remember that not only is the Journey fun...but it's essential. People have to move from smaller devices to bigger ones. Even a 510 is a hard sell in my opinion because of how messy a 3 piece can be. I started doing reviews because I was lead in so many wrong directions both because of fake review sites and these boards.
They WILL get tired of charging batteries, just like me which is why I use Mods which is made from battery boxes which is so far away from what most will be willing to use starting out because it looks like a battery box.
The advice was to save them money, which we all want to do even when it's stated that price is no object.
Charging batteries can be something that is unnoticeable if you use a good PCC. I'm a big GreenCig fan...when I use that unit, I put the battery in the PCC to charge between uses. It never really becomes a problem and the PCC lasts two days, which is longer then an eGo batter.
I think what happened to you is that this became a hobby. That's not going to happen to everyone. It happened to me...but lots of people I know just want to pick something up and roll. They don't want to be bothered with refilling...and they don't want to get juice all of their hands. $2-$3 for a carto is nothing compared to $6.50 a pack. They want it to be as simple as smoking was...and if it's not...they won't follow through with the switch to vaping.
Just my opinion.
