The last time i was smoking an ecig was over a year and a half ago i had a 910 but when the attys burned out and the FDA ban was announced i just gave up. I bought a disposable ecig a few weeks agoa and watn to start again.
I have done some reading so far and it sounds like the new go to newb ecig is the ego, correct? I am ok with a larger model with in reason, i no longer want something that resembles an analog. I have been drinking and will probably make a purchase today and dont want to regret it, i have four packs left and never want to buy another carton of analogs ever again. I need to get the package to me before this time next week, but the absolute lowest price is also a factor.

how many attys, batterys, manual passthroughs, etc should i order to get started again (i have nothing left of the old stuff i threw it out).

I am open to supplier recomendations if they offer an expedited shipping service and fair prices.
My current cost of smoking analogs is a bit over $40 a month so how much should i order to make sure the purchase pays for its self in savings?

I know i sound like a stupid newb but please save me from drunk impulse buying on the net...:2cool::2cool::2cool:

I've been vaping a little over a year and can tell you that a lot has changed since I started! I started with a generic type of e-cig which worked well enough to let me know that vaping would work for me. I then moved up to an eGo which is a good beginner unit. The advantage of the eGo over my first purchase was the longer battery life which made them much more convenient. It is a good pv for anyone who is first starting out in the vaping world.

There are so many choices out there now that weren't available even a few months ago. I won't go into all those choices because it would probably make your head spin, lol. My suggestion is to take the plunge, get an eGo or Kgo, then start looking through this forum to get an idea of all the other options now available. Be adventurous, explore a little, and enjoy the journey.

Welcome to ecf.

(btw, here is a link to one site that carries the eGo. http://liberty-flights.com/product.asp?id=40 There are plenty of other vendors that offer them as well. Check out the Forum Suppliers link for other options.)

I also skipped the slim 'cigarette style' e-cig, and went w/ a Mega Ego-W w/ clearomizers. I got the basic kit for ~$56 from MEGA EGO-W e-Cigarette | e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes Ultd.™.

I went ahead and ordered extra cartos & ejuice at the same time, and the shipping didn't change as it stayed below .5 kg. Five days from order to my door. Not bad for starting in China.

It has the 1100mAh batteries, & the cartos have lasted me a month. I started w/ my juice @ 36mg/ml & go through a couple of ml a day. The mega batts last me 2+ days on average.

I personaly went from using a 510 for two years to getting a ego-t type b. I love my ego! I have just started trying out Clearomisers and I actually in some ways like it better then the stock ego b tank, some ways translates into taste and a little more vapor. I just got a kit from gotvapes.com that has Metal Case carry case
MEGA 510 Battery E2
2 FLüXomier CE2 Deluxe Cartomizers
USB Charger

for I think $17.95. I don't know if they have them in stock but they also carry a 808 version. I can't tell you how they vape mind you because I just bought it but if the Fluxomiers are anything like the Clearomisers I should be pretty happy. You can do what I did and get a ego and then try out other tanks and cartos with the batteries. I think the ego t type b is a fantastic setup.

Thank you all for the help i just made an order last night with your advice.

I picked up a ego starter kit (1100 bat) from hoosier, 4 attys, 5 5ml fluid samples, 1 pack of boge 2.0 cartomizers, and a spare button(not sure why but it seemed like something i might break) for a hair less than $90, and free priority shipping. Cant wait for it to arrive. Allready have multiple conformation emails from brent at hoosier, so far very satisfied with service.

is there anything else that i missed that i should order now to ensure a smoother transition from analogs?
