So, I'm a total noob.....and for my 1st kit (after a cheap-o strip-mall trial kit) is going to be a DSE 908 from Word-Up, I say "going to be" because it won't arrive for another couple of days. I chose it because (after reading forums, etc) I wanted a decent size battery (it comes with 2 - 550mah manuals) and a 2 piece set up (cartomizers rather than attys & carts)....and I'm kind of on a tight budget, so the fact that the starter kit was on sale for $39.99 then an additional 15% off convinced me to give it a try.

Now the problem....the kit comes with 5 blank cartos and liquid....but 5 cartos will not refill forever. I've been looking around trying to find more to order but I haven't been able to find anyone who carries a DSE 908 carto or atty/cart :(

Can anyone tell me if there is another type of carto that is compatible with the DSE 908? maybe another DSE-type?

I sent an email to customer support at Word-Up this weekend, but I wanted to ask here too...hoping for lots of good advice.

Thanks in advance!

No idea. never heard of DSE908

Here is some info - ask the place where you bought it for more info too
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/wordup-ecig/186151-new-2-piece-ecig.html

how bizarre "It is basically an 801 Thread but female there is an adapter in the kit you need to charge it with and as far as I know you can put an 801 on or and 801 adapter to just about any thing on the charger adapter that comes with the kit"

(this is the vendor posting "as far as I know"....)

I found the kit that you ordered. Ive never heard of a DSE-908 either. They dont say anything about what threading it has or what it could use. Im alittle weary of that, and I would def call them and ask before using the kit. If they have a weird threading or something that can only use one type of cartos then I would consider returning the kit.
While it might be cheaper to start, if you can only buy one carto for them youll prob end up spending more in the long run.

You can get a great 510 connection PV for around the price you paid for the DSE-908. 510 is prob the most popular and has a wide variety of attys/cartos that can be used.
If your looking for good battery life Id look at the Riva, E-Power, or kGo. They are all 3.7V and have 510 threading and would be a MUCH better PV than the one you ordered, and their about the same price.
LibertyFlights has a great deal for the Riva, Hoosier ecig Supply for the kGo, and Crystal Clear vaping for the E-Power.
I have an E-Power and love it. Im on a tight budget too(college student) and thats why I went with the E-Power.
It uses non-proprietary batteries and everything is replaceable on the unit so it keeps costs down. E-Power batteries cost only $4 compared to eGo/Riva/kGo batteries that are $14-20.
CCV has the E-Power for $57, which is more than you paid for your kit, but you get about $25 in free stuff though too.
The kit comes with free 5-pack of Ressurector cartos, free 30ml juice of your choice, and Free shipping.
Plus put in "ecf5off" and get 5% off the order.
So even though your kit was cheaper to start, once you buy cartos(if you can find something thats compatible) and juice, it will be about the same price. The E-Power batteries are 1050mah too so they will last about twice as long as the ones with the DSE-908 kit.

If you like the slim ecigs, there are some good ones that would fit your budget.
Vapor4life sells a slim ecig that is popular and works well. Bloogplanet and the Halo G6 are also good slim ecigs.
Dormouse knows a lot about those ecigs and will be able to help you alot. I know she likes the V4L ones

Vapor4life has a really good deal right now for Cyber Monday. Their currently at 46% off so you could get a really good deal for a kit. The discount changes though but its anywhere between 30-60% off. (Their doing a discount wheel type thing, so the % will change all day. Even if you got one at the lowest, 30%, it would still be prob a better deal than the DSE-908 kit) Def worth checking out

thank you Rob! really appreciate all the info! going to look at V4L after this, see what they have. I don't get paid again 'til week's end, so don't know if I'll be able to get in on Cyber Monday sales.
I sent an email to the company this morning (like right before posting here) to inquire about the carto/threading thing, but haven't heard back. couldn't call because I was working and now it is too late (they're east coast, I'm west coast). I guess I'll take a look at it when it arrives, if it has some bizarre threading I'll just send it back and get something else. sigh. thought it would be a good fit for me because it is kind of slim and has a decent battery size for all day at work (according to what I'd read--like I said, this is my 1st "real" kit....I've just started last week with a "trial"-type kit which was satisfying for about an hour until the only battery had to be charged again...lol).

thanks Dormouse! I hadn't seen that supplier post. If it is accurate (hopefully) I can just pick up an 801 to 510 adapter for this kit and be ready to experiment with different cartos. fingers crossed since it's been ordered. :D
