Here's my advice to newbies getting ready to order their first kit. Make sure you get extra carts, either prefilled or blanks and some juice. All the kits that I looked at come with 4 or 5 prefilled carts. In my excitement, I ordered my kit, then asked the forum what else is essential. I think Lu said juice and carts so back online I went to order. Got my kit on Saturday, all is great except one thing, I'm down to 1 cart and my extra supply won't be here till Monday or Tuesday. I wake up in the night to smoke, now its vap, so I just pray the mail gods are good to me tomorrow. I don't want to revert to the anologs, although I have had a couple in the last 2days. Happy Vapin, dawnlori

I ordered a 901 an extra atomizer and three 10ml bottles of different juices. I haven't had to use my atomizer, but agree it was probably a good investment.

It was enough to give me a great introduction. Now that I know that I want to switch over to vaping, I've ordered a 401 and about 150 ml of more juice.

Hang in there,,, it's so much fun when stuff arrives. :)

Yeah, I think the juice is the secret of the whole thing. The wick in the cartridges can be used for three or four days before it starts getting too mushy. If I take the cartridge off and I don't get a little vape through just my atomizer, I unscrew it and blow through the end that attaches to the battery. But 99 percent of the time, the problem is that the wick needs to be rejuiced.

There are a number of ways to rejuice a wick. I like to use a set of hemostats to take the wick out. I then add a drop of juice to each side and edge so it's well soaked. I turn it and hold it for a few seconds so the juice soaks into the wick, and then I put it back in the cartridge.

Don't do this if you're driving, off course. You can just "top off" with a couple of drops in that case. You'll have to do it more often, almost as often as you would light a fresh analog. But it works just fine.

If you refresh your cartridge and it seems a little clogged, take off the cartridge and put just a drop of juice on the atomizer to prime it. That usually does the trick.

Some juices are more flavorful than others. You just have to shop around until you find what you like. So far, my favorite is e-SmokeyTreats vanilla. But I'm still experimenting with flavors and suppliers.

I had some problems when I first got my e-cig, it wouldnt vape at all. I had read and watched so many videos with people blowing out all this vapor, and I thought I had just gotten a "bad one" which I actually did, so I have ordered a more popular model. Turns out my carts were dry. -No, Im not inept, and trying to vape blank carts, haha they were prefilled.. Just dried out I guess. I put some liquid in them when my juice came, and now what do you know! Large amounts of vapor! Moral of the story: have juice on hand!
