Yes I've read up on ohms law and battery safety and I was going to get the Sony vtc4 battery but I wanted to know what was a cheap but also effective mechanical mod

well...assuming you HAVE acquired all above information and you REALLY are ready to build just go to FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics and see what you like there, that being said though you have to pay CLOSE attention to the reviews and make sure they are GOOD products, if there is bad reviews or none at all the resulting decision should be a no brainer and if you are just starting out don't build any coils under 3.00 ohms!!!! LOL, let's see if they even get the joke, right guys?

Thanks for that them vapours look alright but do the hit hard?

If you are talking about hitting hard, most mechanicals will hit as hard as the build you put on them. Yes, there are varying amounts of voltage drop on each of them, but probably the most important factor when considering how 'hard' they hit will be the build you put on them.

You definitely have to read the discussions over there on each product page if you are going the Fasttech route as they vary greatly in quality and voltage drop. There are some good ones there though - the Stingray clone mentioned above being one of them. Again, careful as they have about 5 different versions of it.

If you are looking for a great device from a fantastic manufacturer and don't mind spending a bit more, I could point you somewhere closer to home at Cloud 9 Vaping from the UK. They carry Super T Manufacturing products. I have a Super T workhorse, and it's a great mechanical with smooth buttons, great machining and it's as durable as granite. It's a little pricey I suppose at 70 quid, but it's a great device.
