I have an aegis legend 200w. I was wanting to know if it is benificial to do the firmware update?? Does it make a big difference in how the device works?

The first edition wasn't very good at battery efficiency. The firmware update improved that. However, a few people had issues with the update which bricked their mod. I didn't do the update, and ended up giving the mod to my son because the Legend was too big and heavy for my taste.
I'm sure others will be along to give their side of the story.

It is not a requirement to update your Legend but there are benefits to the update. Fist check what version you have by turning the device off (5 click of the fire button). Then press and hold both the + and – buttons for a few seconds. Your FW version will be displayed.
From the Geekvape site these are the improvements. You can decide whether they are beneficial to you or not.
