unless the button fails and it is stuck on
I personally know somebody who had that happen to him. His aegis is "special" in that the fire button has a little more play and it can become stuck. While vaping he can just push it to the side to make it pop out again but the button became stuck while he had it in his jacket while walking out on the streets. He noticed when it got really hot (nothing dramatic happened, just heat, but battery was so hot he couldn't touch it).
I'll have to test that DNA thing, always have my atty locked in. Only have 75c though, no 200. It should at least ask the new/old question. I sometimes take my hot atty off my Therion BF to refill the squonk bottle (Lost Vape give you a bottle to fill through the 510) and when I screw it back on it asks.
The thumbs down for the aegis may have been a bit much, I agree, but that's just his opinion. He's a big YTer so if he doesn't feel like recommending a device to a large audience because of something he perceives to be not ok - I can understand why, he doesn't want any responsibility and takes the safe road. Not saying it's the correct thing to do just that I can get why.
I watch more than 1 reviewer if I'm interested in a device anyways and there's always at least one I disagree with
