I received this Aegis Mini Kit from Geekvape for the purpose of reviewing it. The one I received is the black and blue model but the mod is available a range of colors.

Geekvape kept the sleek look of the Aegis while slimming it down in this built-in battery 80W mod. The Aegis mini is a very small, durable light weight mod that feels good in the hand. This mod is solid with no button rattle and seems as durable as the original Aegis and is also rated IP67. The black and white screen is large for the size of the mod and very crisp. Geevapes lists the specifications as 80 Watts, 30 amp, 2200 mAh and 8 volts.

The USB mini port for charging is located on the bottom of the mod protected by a rubber plug. A USB cable is included in the kit but not a wall wart. It can be charged from a computer USB port supplying the power or a wall wart if you provide your own. I used a desktop computer for charging which was pretty fast. You want to be sure to hold onto the provided USB cable as the port is deep on the mod and most regular mini USB cables won’t fit inside the port.

Operating modes are standard power mode, TC mode for Ni200, Ti, and SS, TCR mode, along with bypass and a VPC (wattage curve mode). No preheat mode is available but can pretty much be accomplished using the VPC mode.

The mod provides the normal simple easy to navigate interface found on the Aegis and Aegis Legend.
Five clicks of the fire button to turn on and off. Three clicks to enter the menu mode, Up and down to rotate through available options, Fire Button held to select the mode. Fire with up or down button to adjust screen brightness. Up + down held to lock adjustment buttons while allowing mod to still be fired.

Included in the kit package: Aegis Mini Mod, Cerberus Tank with pre-installed Super Mesh X2 0.3 ohm coil and bubble glass, extra Super Mesh X2 0.3 ohm coil, space straight glass replacement, USB cable, User Manual and spare port plug.

I have been using this kit for about 10 days as a daytime carry round vape. The Cerberus tank is a 25 mm tank that holds 5.5 ml of ejuice with the bubble glass or 4 ml with the straight glass. The capacity of the tank and the battery life were more than enough for my use while out and about during the day. I really like the compact size and quality construction of the kit overall. I did not test the TC mode on the mod but will do that in the next couple of weeks and add to this review.

The 0.3 ohm X2 super mesh coil is rated at 30-45 Watts. 25 Watts was all I needed with the coil though. I like a cool vape and 25 watts provided a lot of vapor and a very good flavor.

If you are looking for a small, durable mod then this one just might be what you are looking for.
