Thanks. Tried ordering from them tonight. I tried two different cards and both payments were rejected. Both cards are good with no balance on them. I sent them an e-mail to let them know that something is wrong with their site. Anyone else have a place for me to try?

Edited for update: No sooner than I had posted the above, I get notice from my bank that the charge went through even though it said on the site that it was rejected. So I'm guessing that the second one went through also that I tried with the other card. And here's the kicker, when I signed on to the site to check on my order it said the Kanger Air Control bases were out of stock. So I'll be calling them and cancelling all orders with them tomorrow as I had ordered some drip tips and I don't want to pay shipping for four drip tips.

Mine show shipped, of the 3 sites I knew to be carrying the AFC base from Kanger this was the last site with any inventory.

Looks promising but had so many issues with the Protanks, Kanger products scare me!
My iClear 30 has been very reliable but am tempted with this.
However will probably hold out and buy a decent rba when I get paid.
I never had any issues with Kanger glass tanks that couldn't be attributed to airflow issues or crappy heads. The Aerotank addresses the airflow issues brilliantly, and (re) building the heads yourself with a decent coil and cotton wicking turns it into something that doesn't need to hang it's head in shame sitting next to a real RBA.

From what vendor did you order? The only place I've seen them is Sun Vapers and they are out of stock. I'd really like to get one or two! Thanks.

myvaporstore.com has the bases and the whole tanks for sale

edit didn't see your order went thru, enjoy the aero it's awesome! haven't used the whole tank yet, been stuck on the pt2 with aero base because I have so many pt2 coils i have stock and want to use so i can rebuild

Since I am still waiting for my FastTech 'Caravela' clone, I stuck my new AeroTank on top of a Vision 'Spinner' (900 mAh) adjustable voltage battery. I seem to get about the best vape out of the AeroTank with the Spinner set on 4.5v

Now I perceive a real problem coming up when I set this AeroTank on top of the Caravella clone ... The Efest IMR-18650 battery (2000 mAh) only outs out 3.7v. That is just not going to be enough for this Aerotank. Just for grins, I set the voltage on my Spinner battery to 3.7v just to see how the AeroTank would do .... No Good ... not enough voltage!

So, if I want to use a Mechanical mod like the Caravella, I guess the only option would be to get an Evolv 'Kick' so I can get the volts boosted from 3.7 up to about 4.5

Anyone else having problems with running the AeroTank on a Mechanical Mod (3.7 fixed volts)?

Ron,

And that sir, is why mech mods make it almost essential to learn to make your own coils. If you like 10 watts in your Aerotank and only have 3.7 volts to work with, you need to make yourself a 1.4 ohm coil for the Aerotank. Don't want to make your own coils and can't buy pre-mades in the resistance you want? Well, then, use a regulated mod. ;)

Understand however that a mech mod doesn't really make a fixed 3.7 volts. It makes over 4V when the battery is freshly charged and the voltage will drop with the battery's state-of-charge.

I make my own coils for my Aerotank and still use a regulated mod. :D

Ron,

Hey Ron,
I realize this is an ancient post at this point but I thought I'd reply with my experience with the Aerotank on my Stingray clones. I rebuilt the dual coil into a single coil cotton wick @ 1.4. I typically use an IGO-w7 dripper and a kayfun lite plus (eciggity drilled out hole version), but when I am feeling lazy or just want a more light vape I use the aerotank for less headaches. It is putting out decent vapor and decent flavor. Nothing mind blowing but a reliable way to get some vape in the system. I could try and build a lower ohm coil and I think this would put out a fair amount of vapor.

Even since this was originally posted Kanger has now started making lower ohm dual coils, .8 and 1.0 ohm I believe. These are probably awesome considering they are truly dual coil as well. Although I do love cotton wicking in a clearo for the ease of changing wicks before the coil has run it's lifespan.

I am using Efest 35amp batteries (the ubiquitous purple batteries.) I imagine a kick in the stingray would give you the ability to up the power, and of course using a DNA30 or something of that nature would be awesome.

My main concern is at what point is the coil too hot for the aerotank design? I imagine anything under .9 would be kind of bad, similar to a kayfun build.

Just my 2 cents.

Rossum,
In your opinion what is the lowest ohm coil build the aerotank could handle without melting things?
