I've took it apart and clean for few times already. There's some problem with the head, probably. Start getting a slight birning taste and misfire out of the tank.
Not a big deal. I'll just retire the whole thing. There's no point to fight it.
Thanks for the help thou.,

Have you read any of the threads on the new post insulator being used by Kanger? The new insulator has been responsible for air flow blockage in a large number of reports.

It might be worth searching for and reading a few of the threads.

been using an aerotank base on a pt2 that my local b&m vendor tossed in with my recent purchase an oh man :vapor: this thing is awesome!! Just received the actual aerotank in the mail today and am wondering if I should fill it up and give it a go, I'am already very happy with the aero base performance on a single coil with the pt2 and was wondering if it actually gets better with the dual coil? Does it provide more TH and/or vapor production than just the base on an old pt?

Why yes, you should. I haven't seen a direct comparison between a PT2 on an Aerotank base and an actual Aerotank. ;)

Personally, I don't see a stunning difference in vape between the Aerotank and the mini PT2 (which uses the same head as the full-sized PT2). The reason I like the Aerotank better than the mini PT2 is that it's 510 (as opposed to eGo), it has bigger capacity, and I like the styling.

Rossum, have you used the aero base on a pt2 and the aerotank? notice any differences?
No, but if I had, I would have said so. Trouble is I'm hiding hiding from the cold weather in FL right now, and I left my full-sized PT2s back north (because I'd just about given up on them). I bought the Aerotank more-or-less on a whim at when I saw it at a B&M down here. A week later, I was impressed enough that I bought a second one and a half-dozen spare heads. And I really do think that using the Aerotank base on the PT2 will fix the issues that the PT2 had; for me they would would get gurgly and flood pretty quickly due to too little airflow on the devices I wanted to use 'em on.

Thanks. Tried ordering from them tonight. I tried two different cards and both payments were rejected. Both cards are good with no balance on them. I sent them an e-mail to let them know that something is wrong with their site. Anyone else have a place for me to try?

Edited for update: No sooner than I had posted the above, I get notice from my bank that the charge went through even though it said on the site that it was rejected. So I'm guessing that the second one went through also that I tried with the other card. And here's the kicker, when I signed on to the site to check on my order it said the Kanger Air Control bases were out of stock. So I'll be calling them and cancelling all orders with them tomorrow as I had ordered some drip tips and I don't want to pay shipping for four drip tips.
