Wait, you change up juices without changing or doing anything to the head?

Yup, I vape a lot of juices in the same general category though, so I let my juice get down very low, and do a refill, or pour out the excess if I want to completely change. I also have about 30 different clearos. If I want to change flavor directions completely I'll use a new head. For instance if I'm doing a citrusy vape, I will use a different clearo.

I only change the coil, when it stops wicking, or if the flavor gets strange.

anyone noticing a muted flavor from the aerotank? I get good vapor but the flavor seems a little muted from my iclear30 an 30b. Don't know what will cure the flavor mute. Considering just putting aside till I go to the store and get some kanthal to do a rebuild

No muted flavor here. More flavor than my iclear30.

Every time I refill my aero tank it seems to gurgle a bit and a loss a vapor. Anyone have any ideas

Gurgling should be due to one of two things:

1) A vacuum leak somewhere. Check all your o-rings and make sure everything is screwed down tight.

2) Too tight a draw pulling too much juice into the coil chamber. Try opening up the airflow some.

I had the same problem and follow Rossum's 2 steps.

I cleaned everything out and dried. I checked the o-rings they were fine. I loosened my air-hole to the biggest hole. I also took a pipe cleaner and ran it up and down the inside of the shaft to make sure water/e liquid was out.....worked great for me...no gurgling and very good performance.

A second day with AiroTank.
The muted taste is because of a long metal chimney and drip tip.The vapor is getting cool down too fast and losing flavor. I'm using short mouthpiece from CE3 instead of drip tip for now but it looks kinda funny. Seems help a little.
In two days by using Aerotank on Provary Mini I've had a few problems: error E1 from Provary, an airflow control ring gets stack in upper or low position and gurgling.
So far I'm not impress. It's not a bad but nothing spectacular ether.

OK, my dry burned coil didn't last very long. Flavor was never very good and it got flaky very fast; I think I felt some crap "pop" off the bottom coil while vaping it (although the resistance didn't change) and vapor production went downhill very quickly. So this morning I rinsed it and took it apart. And indeed, I found some loose chunks of crud in the bottom of the fire chamber. So I figured, OK, it's apart, I might as well try to rebuild it. I've never attempted to rebuild a Kanger head before, so I looked at what I have for wicking material and decided to try a single piece of "3mm" Ekowool. Ekowool isn't like normal wick; it's braided and it's hollow; it's intended to be used as insulating/protective sleeving over other stuff and the size isn't an OD but rather an ID. Anyway it seemed like the right amount of material to use for a simple single "flat" coil without having to add separate pieces of flavor wick. So I torched some 30 gauge Kanthal, on it, put 5 wraps on the Ekowool, flattened the coil some, and torched the whole assembly. (I'd previously found that Ekowool can taste funny of you don't torch it). The result: A 1.6 ohm single coil Aerotank head. It rawks! Excellent vapor production and flavor. The only catch is that after chain vaping it for a while, I've got just a bit of gurgling. It's possible I had set the airflow too tight, or I might have to add some "flavor wick" to it after all, we'll see.

But the bottom like is: It's absolutely possible to rebuild these heads with a single coil, and in fact, I think the fact that Kanger builds "dual coils" in these tanks is nothing more than a marketing gimmick.

3-td day and after about 20 ml of juice the coil doesnt
perform any more. Very tight draw and burning taste. This" airflow" thing is just a gimmick.
Take the head out, pull the chimney off and examine the coil. If it looks like this then it's time for a new one. ;)

Some juices will gunk up coils much more rapidly than others. This is a fact of life.

Dekang 555 with 3.9v and the coil looks ok. Not like on the picture.
