I bought an Aerotank Mini about 3 weeks ago and was extremely impressed with both the increase in vape quality (flavor, quantity) and the quality of the product itself. However, I've now noticed either what is a design flaw, or a one-off issue on my model. It seems that the center post that runs through the entire tank, connecting the top (where the drop tip pops in) and the bottom (where the base + atomizer screw in) becomes easily dislodged.

I've attached a picture with a circle showing where the weakness seems to be. The joint at the circle does not have threading to allow the pole to screw into the base, but rather just sits tightly within there. Either mine has worn down (how is this possible? Had the tank for 3 weeks and have taken EXTREME care), or there's something wrong with the production. The slightest nudge/twist/pull causes the center post to dislodge, breaking the entire seal and causing the tank to fall apart, along with all juice leaking out. The culprit seems to be the 2-part center post, where the top of the post + middle screw together, but the bottom only sits (snuggly?) in the hole. I'm not sure as to why this happened, but it's very disappointing as my Aerotank Mini is now 100% unusable and has caused severe leaking in pockets and on tables - not to mention the tanks worth of juice I've lost.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I've shot a message off to Kanger as I feel there's nothing I could have done to cause this issue. Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I just bought one and am having similar problems. All the juice dumps out the bottom. I think the problem is with the part you pointed out. I've reassembled it numerous times, but it keeps happening. My mega works great, but not the mini. I'm returning it to the shop Monday and they are going to check it out.

i just bought a mini YESTERDAY as a partial Bday prez to myself .... ;)
It came pre-assembled with the pyrex tank so i just filled that and it worked great(the guy at the store put it together to show me and left it like that). But then i wanted to try out the SS tank that also came with the kit....Now it seems that my aerotank just WONT hold together, falls apart all the time in three parts (top/mouthpiece -tank-bottom+airflow) It fits well together but doesnt seem to really SCREW on well into anything tightly-especially the part that connects the bottom of the tank to the bottom.
WHAT am i doing wrong ????or is mine defective in some way ????

Hi,

just wanted to say that ive had the exact same experience on TWO of these now -both authentic, purchased from reliable B&M.

Like yours, mine worked PERFECTLY at first, I used them NON-STOP (heavy vaper...) for about 2-3 weeks before starting to have this prob .When it happened with the first ,to avoid hassle and being without on a WE I simply rushed out to buy a new one, and that one did the same thing ie. worked perfectly for the first few weeks before suddenly falling apart in my hands, mid way thru a vape, juice all over me etc.

Ive examined and RE -examined them closely, cant see anything actually "broken"... dunno why this is happening ????
I ve just put them temporarily aside for now and have been using something else (mini nautilus which im very pleased with 2)instead but I plan on bringing them back to my salesguy as soon as I have some time and hopefully have him figure it out ...

A real shame because while it was working it was GREAT !!!!
