aerotank mini not getting flavor

I'm a beginner vaper, been vaping for around a month and I recently got an aerotank mini for my Vision Spinner 1

When I first got the tank the flavor was on point but rookie mistakes costed me about 4 replacable heads for it

I just now got an istick 100w box mod for when i get an RDA soon but I just replaced the bad wick with an 1.8 Organic Cotten kangerhead, let it saturate for half an hour, and it vapes good but I'm not getting flavor.

The juice is 60/40 and what I find weird is with my girlfriends smoktech wick it pushs flavor nicely but with these new wicks they don't.

I hope someone can give me some insight about this situation.

Hello @xNovax109 , and welcome to the forum. It may not be the tank/coil at all. There is a temporary affliction we have all experienced at one time or another. It's called Vapors tongue. Search Results for Query: vapors tongue | E-Cigarette Forum 1. drink plenty of water while you vape. 2. sometimes brushing your teeth will help. Switching flavors can help too. You'll find a few more remedies in the red link above.

I know what vapers tongue is though but if that was the case I wouldn't be able to taste the flavor in my girlfriends tank running the same juice.
I'm gonna try to pick up a different flavor tomorrow to see if that will change anything. Bywhat you said that could be it sadly.
Could you recommend any good flavors?

Try dropping your wattage and see what happens. I've discovered that the taste of burning is not that obvious to me - at least not while it's happening. I usually get a lack of flavor. As soon as I drop it down I notice my liquid has a smoked taste.

I've been vaping at 7 wattz for a 1.8ohm coil.
Anything higher then that over time give me a smokey/burnt taste so I stay in the 5.5 - 7 range for it.
Its kangertechs newer coils that seem to be vertical from how it looked when I disassembled the chimney.
But I was vaping on some Blue Raspberry Chill and switched over to a Peach Mango, little bit of flavor but I might have to go pick up a 10ml of something minty or something that's a drastically flavor difference.

I noticed that the vertical coils gives me less flavor after just a couple of hours of vaping.. I switched to the old style, RDA and it is much better.. even though the stock coils loose flavor rapidly to me.

Alright i might just have to go pick up a fresh set of protank single coils, due to greater reviews then the original kangertech dual coils that come with the aerotank mini.
Im also ordering a bottle of flavorless ejuice to get over my vapers fatigue since i believe thats what it is, sadly.

I don't think the single coils will work. They are shorter than the dual coils and may result in leaks.

I've seen in other forums that people have been able to use them with the aerotank series so when I go to my smoke shop, ill compare the sizes.

Also, the coils I ordered and have are the Kangertech VOCC Atomizerhead.

I opened one of the coils up and realized it is not 100% organic cotton.

What they did is they took a thin layer of organic cotton and ran it around the outside of the coil, but on the inside it is of some other cotton like material that is just garbage.

I realized inorder to actually get a decent flavor from them I have to plug the airvalve and blow slightly in to the tank so that more juice goes through and gets the inner wicking material saturated.

Though this is only good for a few hits so if you do have those heads, I'd check it out asap.
