Just posting this link cause it's what I call my "local"
Aerotank Plus by Kanger • 1.8 ohm SSOCC • MTL

you can find them at many places.

I like it..
even though the drip tip is a whole top covering and the tank looks best with it, if you really hate a flat drip tip, there is a standard 510 connection underneath.

I specifically got this to try the flat drip tip with an ssocc, i feel it concentrates the vape to hit the throat a bit harder. Right now I am at 12.5 watts (4.5 volts) with the included coil (they rate it up to 13, it's a 1.8, but really even at 13 consistently I got no dry hits).

The interesting thing is that 1.8 SSOCC it comes with, are not available anywhere as far as I can tell, so you'd be replacing it with the 1.5 most likely, which is a better coil anyway, allows for an even stronger hit.
4 airflow holes at the bottom but without click, whether you hate or like that I don't know. But it does allow very easy partial hole covering for fine tuned flow. The airflow hasn't moved at all on me, but unlike some other kanger tanks, it is very easy to move, yet firm and precise.

As usual, I only post an opinion on something after heavy use, and this has been in rotation now with my smok brit mini for the last month.
I'd be happy with it as a daily driver if it weren't for the 2ml capacity.
If Kanger would make a 4ml adapter kit for this, it could easily be my go to for outings.
It has a very concentrated TH but the vapor production is half the smok, it's around nautilus levels. So far I have only used 18mg nic in it, and just ran out of that flavour (halo cobalt blueberry), so will be putting in some 36 tomorrow.

Curious if anyone else here has used it and their thoughts. Cheers!

I'm disappointed with the Aerotank Plus. I get better vapor production with the old Aerotank at 9.5 watts than I do with the Aerotank plus at 15 watts! These SSOCC coils produce a pretty good flavor but they suck down the juice extremely fast and the vapor production is very weak in my opinion. The way this thing sucks down the juice you would think that the vapor production would be better but it's not! I'm constantly having to fill it up. I do like the airflow adjustments and I haven't had any problems with it leaking but considering all the pros and cons, I'll stick with the old Aerotank until something better comes along.

Hmm... wow! i am getting incredible throat hit and very decent vapor at 14 watts my friend! I always struggled getting a good hit with normal kanger dual coils! It really goes to show how everyone's experience can differ! However i 100% agree on the juice guzzling bit! I've got a hotcig smarttank coming which is the world's smallest 2ml tank and some are saying it give the best MTL they have ever had! Maybe that's something you could look into. If you want to use ssocc's with a long tank life, try find a subtank plus! They can do a fantastic MTL on the smallest air flow hole with the 1.5 ssoccs :) Even the toptank mini can be a great MTL tank, again, ssocc coils.
the 7ml of the ST plus lasts for a couple days with ssocc. They sit flush on an alien, rouleaux, the new evic primo (2.0 version has got all new 510, best joyetech have ever done), basically any mod that can look good with 25's.
Other options are any tank that can take the joyetech CLR coils, my old ego one mega tanks have been brought back to life with those!
Did you try my other suggestions in other topic, the vaporshark or triton mini temp MTL coils? I have now setteld at 17 watts and 440 - 470 temp. :) Great vape, no dry hit ever. Work perfectly with any modern temp board, i have confirmed with eleaf/joyetech/smok h priv onwards & of course any dna board.
Sorry if this topic got you to try something you don't like, I feel really bad about it! Hope I can help out to make it up to you. I must admit if they made a 4ml adapter for it, it'd be great for me.

Another example how we are all different.. so many swear by nautilus x.. i initially wrote enthusiastically about it myself, cause on first fill and prime, i got an insane couple of hits with 24mg juice. But it is the biggest turd overall to me Aspire has ever released, which i found out as time went on and that the coils could not even keep up with wicking 70% pg juice!

There's another little known MTL tank called the astral tank you might want to try, rave reviews.

PS no mtl tank produces more vapor than the smoks - truth. the brit mini with 0.6 or 1.2, spirals with 0.6 coil, micro tfv4 with 1.2.. they chuck vapor of what early cloud chasing subs did a couple years back. Vapor is not so important to me especially when on my own. as long as it has as much as a cig, and the aerotank plus certainly has that. What matters to me personally is defined throat hit. A powerful punch. I have aqua lungs and leather throat.. even with 36mg nic I can only take say 4 drags then have to wait half hour before i can take another 4 for my throat to feel it again. I will never stop searching for the ultimate MTL.
Look, another example, every single person that has ever bought one has raved about kabuki. For me it was the biggest waste of money i have ever spent on a tank. I just couldn't get a good TH out of it, certainly less than standard naut. The drip tip is just awful and you need a hercules moment to remove it lol!
Cheers :)
