Affordable Wood Temp Cntrl Box Mods

So I'm looking to upgrade and get a wooden temp control device 75w+, but I'm not looking to break the bank (>$150). I have seen a few mods poping up hear and there but I can't seem to find reliable reviews on them. What do yall think about these:

The Tesla wood mod is YUGE. Dwarfs an IPV 3. It's just ludicrously large.
