Hey all - this is an amazing forum! I thought I had done alot of research about a year ago and went ahead with a purchase of a Breathe-Fresh ecig kit. BAD IDEA - I did not like the taste and the cig was heavy. Consequently I did not stick with it at all. That was my first $100 down the drain. After some more research I found a nice Canadian supplier and ordered a Joyetech 510 manual kit. This seemed much better and I was able to put in my own juice - which made it taste better. Still - I was only smoking it once in awhile when I could not get outside, or when on the plane etc. I continued to crave my regular analogs.
HAve been a die-hard menthol smoker for more than 20 years.
I bit the bullet a couple of months ago and bought myself a nice Ego-C Twist kit from some nice people at Madvapers with some Halo juice (which seemed highly recommended ejuice). The kit came with a CE4 Clearomizer, a Kanger T2 Clearomizer, and a Kanger MT3 Clearomizer (had no idea what clearomizers were or how to use them properly. Being the noob I am, I was not sure which clearo was which - but think that I tried the CE4 so far. I steeped my juice as was recommended - and whenever I tried smoking it with the CE4 I kept getting this scratchy feeling in the back of my throat. Is this the "throat hit" everyone refers to? It has gotten a bit better, but I still find that I like the cartos better. I had a couple of old Kanger Horizontal coil LR cartos and tried those. Problem with them is that I have ordered them twice now in a 5 pack and there are at least 2-3 that are dead! If anyone can point me in the right direction as to what to buy for my Ego twist that will not be scratchy and have a nice smooth vape - I would be so grateful!
